Catalonia, Spain: Regional Govt. Bans Anti-Mosque Protest

The Interior Department of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the government of the Catalonian region of north East Spain, has banned the holding of a protest by the anti-immigration Platform for Catalonia (PXC), which has been called for this Saturday in Salt (Girona) to protest against the construction of a mosque.
The reason cited by the department was a risk risk of ‘seriously disturbing public order’.
In a resolution, the General Secretariat of Interior Security Administration prohibits the mosque protest, convened by Plataforma per Catalunya on Saturday August 27 at 18.00 pm at the City Tower of Girona Salt, in line with the negative reports local police and the Catalan police.

There is an Islamic Jihad taking place by immigrants against their hosts in Sweden. But why won’t the Swedes call it by its proper name? (H/t Tundratabloids, video via Vlad Tepes Blog):
MALMO – New riots and a major firearms incident have broken out in the Rosengård district of Malmö. Passing cars were shot at with rockets. A vehicle was set on fire. – “These incidents can no longer be dismissed as juvenile antics”, said Skåne police informer Calle Persson. – There are grown men behind the attacks.”
No one was injured in the night’s disturbances in the neighborhoods around Ramels Road and Admiral Way.

J’lem Arabs Stone Israeli Ambulance – Treating Arab Child
The Jihad of Dumb:
Jerusalem area Arabs once again have stoned two Israeli Magen David ambulances trying to help neighbors. This time, the medical rescue vehicles were trying to save an Arab boy who fell five floors from his home in El Azaria, a village between the northern Jerusalem neighborhood of French Hill and nearby Maaleh Adumim.
Magen David [Israeli equivalent of the Red Cross - barely tolerated by the dhimmi ICRC - Ed] medics were resuscitating the youth when attackers began to pummel them with rocks from all directions, breaking the windshield. Read the rest of this entry »

Two men, aged 19 and 21, have been arrested in connection with an arson attack at the home in southern Sweden of artist Lars Vilks.
The 21-year-old was arrested late on Saturday at his home in Landskrona, 40 kilometres from the house where Vilks lives. He is being held on suspicion of aggravated attempted arson. Read the rest of this entry »
Swedish Motoonist Lars Vilks Headbutted at Free Speech Lecture
Free Speech Go To Hell. More evidence, if any were needed, that the violent, backward seventh-century ideology of Islam is entirely incompatible with Western democratic norms:
A Swedish artist who created an international furore by depicting the Prophet Muhammad as a dog was assaulted as he delivered a university lecture.
Lars Vilks says he was head-butted by an audience member as he spoke about the limits of artistic freedom.
The cartoonist’s glasses were broken, but he was not injured.
Mr Vilks has been threatened on numerous occasions, but the assault at Uppsala University was the first time he has been physically attacked.
The artist said a group of about 15 people had been shouting and trying to interrupt the lecture, which was attended by about 250 people. Read the rest of this entry »
