Russia’s number one outlaw Chechen terrorist Doku Umarov is also high-up on the international most-wanted list. But it seems one of Russia’s neighbors isn’t interested in helping bring him to justice.

Priest Juha Molari is receiving threats, and faces being defrocked for speaking out against Doku Umarov and his internet mouthpiece, the Kavkaz-Centre.

“I use the word terrorist. They use the word President,” Molari explains.

The site was the first to publish the terrorist’s words on the attacks he claims – the Beslan school siege, the Nevsky express and Moscow metro bombings, and most recently – the Domodedovo airport attack. Read the rest of this entry »

An Iranian man who blinded his lover’s husband is to suffer a similar fate in a tit-for-tat sentencing – by having acid poured into his eye.

Iran’s Islamic code allows for ‘an eye-for-an-eye, a tooth-for-a-tooth’ retribution – known as ‘qisas’ – in cases of violent crime.

The convict, named only as Mojtaba, threw acid in the face of his rival Alireza, a taxi driver, after an illicit affair with the victim’s wife, Mojdeh. Read the rest of this entry »

Egyptian authorities leaving no stone unturned in bid to discover mysterious shark attacks which left German tourist dead. ‘Mossad plot not out of the question,’ says South Sinai governor

Shark attacks on tourists in the Red Sea have triggered a flurry of speculation as to what could have caused them, with suggestions ranging from overfishing to an Israeli plot to harm Egyptian tourism.

The body of a 70-year-old German woman washed up on the shore at Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh on the Red Sea after an attack on Sunday. Officials said the shark had taken a chunk out of her right thigh and bitten through her right elbow. Read the rest of this entry »

'Mon Dieu! So you are saying zat Iran is taking over ze Lebanon? Who knew?'

Lebanon warned “Iran telecom” was taking over the country after uncovering a secret communications network used by Hezbollah two years ago, a US diplomatic cable released by WikiLeaks showed on Monday.

The Beirut government was shocked at the discovery in April 2008 of the extensive communications system used by the powerful Shiite party, which receives military and financial support from Iran, according to the cable. Read the rest of this entry »

Shilling for the annihilation of Israel: your mommas must be so proud

The Anti-Defamation League published a list Thursday evening of the ten leading organizations responsible for maligning Israel in the US. Among the names is a Jewish group that claims Israel is an apartheid state.

The league also listed Act Now to Stop War and End Racism (ANSWER), which last July organized a protest in Chicago attended by 1,000 people who burned flags emblazoned with Stars of David and swastikas.
