Pakistan: ‘All Girls are Call Girls’ for Karachi Men

The Criminal Law Amendment Bill, drafted by women activists, was introduced in the house last year by then information minister Sherry Rehman, who won plaudits from both sides of the house. However, as you would expect, no such plaudits were forthcoming from male politicians and Islamists, who railed against it.
“Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will…” - Qur’an, 2:223
It’s All In The Book, of course. But Pakistani women have clearly had enough of sex-pest Pakistani men. Good for them:
Life for a woman in Karachi is becoming increasingly difficult as they are repeatedly accosted by men who think they are call girls.
Countless men stop their cars on the road whenever they see a lone woman standing at a bus stop or walking towards it. Lewd stares, catcalls and crude remarks have become a common phenomenon for women here. Read the rest of this entry »
Belgian MPs Vote to Ban the Burkha
Asserting their rights not to be dictated to by a seventh-century supremacist Middle East doctrine:
Not a single MP in the lower house of parliament voted against the ban on clothes or veils that do not allow the wearer to be fully identified, including full-face Muslim dress such as the niqab or burqa. There were two abstentions. Supporters said the law would help fight terrorism and grant rights to Muslim women.
Daniel Bacquelaine, one of the liberal MPs who originally called for the ban, insisted the new law was “aimed at stopping people from not being identified”.
“It’s not about introducing any form of discrimination,” he said. Read the rest of this entry »
Hamas Seizes Almost $300,000 from Gaza Bank
Ynet News is reporting this morning that employees of a Gaza bank say Hamas police officers seized nearly $300,000 from a Gaza City branch, claiming they had a court order allowing them to take funds that had been frozen by their Palestinian rivals in Fatah.
The Islamic militant group has been in a bitter dispute with the Western-backed leaders of Fatah since seizing control of the Gaza Strip in 2007 in battles that left the Palestinians with rival governments. Fatah controls the West Bank. Bank staff spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of reprisals.
Show this to your ‘Palestine’-supporting friends the next time you hear them bleating about a ‘two-state solution’. How would they like to live next door to neighbours like these?
More Muslim ‘Lawfare’ in Britain as 95,000 Mohammed Descendants Sue over Motoons
As we’ve reported in the past, Islamists and their enablers often use Britain’s highly accessible and liberal legal system to stifle free speech and generally bully the rest of us. Now this ease of access, together with our broad and complex defamation laws, are allowing a ridiculous and entirely foreign legal battle to be fought in British courts:
Approximately 95,000 descendants of Mohammed are preparing to sue 10 newspapers for publishing “blasphemous” cartoons of the prophet. Faisal Yamani, a Saudi lawyer acting for the descendants, claims that the cartoons – which first appeared in 2005 and caused violent protests by Muslims around the world – are defamatory.
One of the 12 cartoons depicts Mohammed wearing a bomb-shaped turban.
The Sunday Times said that although the cartoons were published by Danish newspapers, Mr Yamani plans to pursue legal action in England, where libel laws are weighted towards the plaintiff.
As Mohammed married his child bride, Aisha bint Abu Bakr, when she was only six years old – and consummated the marriage when she was nine – we can’t help wondering, if it is possible for the Religion of the Perpetually Offended™ to apply the present-day laws of a modern non-Muslim foreign country to defend the reputation of a long-dead Islamic prophet, whether a similar number of Aisha’s descendants shouldn’t also get together and bring a private action against the Sayyids for their ancestor’s fully-documented unlawful sex with a minor?News.com Australia has the full story.
Building Permit Jihad: The Cleansing of Christianity in Indonesia
As we first reported back in October, the ‘building permit Jihad’- the religious cleansing of Christians practised by Muslims in Indonesia – shows no sign of abating; and indeed is clearly becoming more widespread:
Hundreds of Muslims from outside the area where a 600-member church meets in West Java staged a protest there to call for its closure this month in an attempt to portray local opposition.
Demonstrators from 16 Islamic organizations, including the hard-line Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), gathered on Feb. 15 to demand a stop to all activities by the Galilea Protestant Church (GPIB) in the Galaxy area of Bekasi City.
The Rev. M. Tetelepta, pastor of the church, told Compass that the church has had the required consent of local residents and official permission to worship since its inception in 1992. Read the rest of this entry »
