Noor al-Maleki's murdering father will escape the death penalty

Have Muslims been exempted from the death penalty in the United States?

It appears even America is not immune to the disease of dhimmitude and cultural cringe towards Islam, a phenomenon that is infecting judiciaries all over the Western world:

Glendale [Arizona] man accused of slaying his daughter in an “honour killing” will not face the death penalty.

After sparring with the suspect’s defence attorney over its death penalty review process, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office has said it will not seek death for Faleh Almaleki, 49.

The Iraqi immigrant is accused of slaying his daughter, 20-year-old Noor Almaleki, for being “too Westernised.”

Police say he used his Jeep Cherokee to run down his daughter and another woman in a Peoria parking lot Oct. 20. Noor Almaleki later died of her injuries. Read the rest of this entry »

BOSTON – A Muslim rights group is asking the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to investigate a Massachusetts college that is banning students from wearing head coverings that obscure the face.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations says even though the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences policy is aimed at students, it would have ”a disproportionate impact on the religious rights of Muslim employees.”

The policy bans students from wearing clothing such as burqas and face veils, as well as ski masks and scarves. Read the rest of this entry »

An arrest warrant obtained by a group of far left and Jihadi-sympathising lawyers once again prevents a senior figure from a nation allied with Britain from visiting the country:

The Foreign Ministry on Tuesday called for an end to the “absurd situation” in which arrest warrants were being issued to Israeli officials over alleged war crimes in the Gaza Strip.

“Only actions can put an end to this absurd situation, which would have seemed a comedy of errors were it not so serious,” said the Foreign Ministry, a day after it emerged that opposition leader Tzipi Livni had canceled her trip to Britain after a warrant was issued for her arrest. Moshe Yaalon: cancelled a visit to Britain fearing actions brought by far-left Pro Palestinian groups

Israeli minister and former military chief Moshe Yaalon cancelled a UK visit because of fears of arrest for alleged war crimes, his office says.

Pro-Palestinian groups in Britain want him to face trial over the 2002 killing of a Gaza militant, in which 14 others died, at least eight of them children.

Mr Yaalon took legal advice and wanted “to avoid playing into the hands of anti-Israel propaganda”, an aide said. Read the rest of this entry »

Hoteliers Ben and Sharon Vogelenzang: possible criminal records over discussion with Mulsim guest

A Christian couple have been charged with a criminal offence after taking part in what they regarded as a reasonable discussion about religion with guests at their hotel.

Ben and Sharon Vogelenzang were arrested after a Muslim woman complained to police that she had been offended by their comments.

They have been charged under public order laws with using ‘threatening, abusive or insulting words’ that were ‘religiously aggravated’. Read the rest of this entry »
