In something of a change of heart (he had been a little more ‘plague on both your houses’ on Israel/’Palestine’ previously), Pat Condell deftly nails the Islamo-Left pantomime – and in particular the version written by Western libtards – enjoy.

But all they really want is democracy.. more proof (if more were needed) that the one thing really uniting Muslims worldwide is not some heartfelt yearning for Western-style freedom and justice; but their virulent, irrational and deeply-embedded hatred of Israel and Jews. Clearly, that ‘Arab Spring’ is still in the air. Literally.

Palestinians in Gaza have acquired anti-aircraft and anti-tank rockets from Libya during its six-month civil war, enlarging but not significantly improving their arsenal, Israeli officials said on Monday.

While the rebellion against Muammar Gadhafi has stirred concern abroad about the fate of Libya’s ageing chemical weapons stockpiles, Israel has no indication Hamas or other Palestinian factions have sought these, the officials said.

Instead, Israeli officials have detected an inflow of SA-7 anti-aircraft missiles and rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs), said one official, describing an overland supply route that opened up between eastern Libya – after it fell to the rebels – and the Gaza Strip via Egypt. Good riddance to bad Islamist rubbish:
The US-born radical Islamist cleric and suspected al-Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki has been killed in Yemen, the country’s defence ministry has said.

A statement said only that he died “along with some of his companions”.

Awlaki, of Yemeni descent, was on the run in Yemen since December 2007.
The US has named him a “specially designated global terrorist” for his alleged role in a number of attacks and US President Barack Obama is said to have personally ordered his killing.

The defence ministry gave no further details of his death, which could not be independently verified.

But tribal sources told AFP news agency Awlaki was killed in an air strike in the eastern Marib province, said to be an al-Qaeda stronghold.

It is not clear whether he was killed by Yemeni forces or a US drone strike. Read the rest of this entry »

Killing, maiming babies and children – it’s just how they roll in Ramallah:

A young Jewish boy was wounded in a hail of sharp-edged rocks hurled by PA Arabs in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Maale Zeitim, on the Mount of Olives. The boy received medical care at the scene, while Israel Police began searching the area for the attackers.

Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas returned to a hero’s welcome in Ramallah earlier in the day Sunday after demanding the United Nations Security Council recognize the PA as a sovereign nation and grant the entity “full membership” in the international body. He announced to the thousands of cheering Arabs that he was launching the “Palestinian Spring” — claiming it would be one of “non-violent means” — a short-lived claim, it seems – to cement the PA’s claims to all of Judea, Samaria and parts of Jerusalem restored to Israel’s capital in the 1967 Six Day War.
