Three Muslim terrorists were plotting a suicide bombing campaign of “mass murder” on the streets of Britain, a court has heard.

Two of the men are said to have traveled to Pakistan where they received terrorist training and made suicide videos before returning to build a bomb.

The men were under surveillance as part of an “intelligence led operation” by MI5 and the police as they discussed their plans, which were picked up by listening devices.

Two other men allegedly helped raise £12,000 by collecting for charities which was said to be used for the purposes of planning their attacks. A sixth man was accused of failing to inform police. As the men made their first appearance in court, Deborah Walsh, prosecuting, said: “The terrorist ideology behind these offences is to commit mass murder in the UK.” Read the rest of this entry »

Plans to tackle the problem of children being groomed for sex in the UK are to be published.

The findings of the six-month inquiry by the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (Ceop) centre into localised grooming will be released along with recommendations for the future.

Last week it emerged that more than 2,000 young victims of grooming have been identified since January 2008, but the problem is a “hidden issue” and likely to be seriously underestimated by police, social services and charities.

Peter Davies, Ceop’s chief executive, launched the investigation after former home secretary Jack Straw accused some Pakistani men in Britain of seeing white girls as “easy meat” for sexual abuse. Read the rest of this entry »

Tafazal Mohammad was described as an “individual of interest” by MI5 in 2001 when he attended a training camp with the bombings’ ringleader, Mohammed Sidique Khan.

Despite a host of links with the suicide attackers, 7/7 London Bombing-Linked Muslim Mohammad now promotes himself as a “professionally qualified youth and community worker” and has been paid thousands of pounds by organisations including the Metropolitan Police and Chester University.

His company, Muslim Youth Skills, charges up to £115 a head for its courses to “engage and empower hard-to-reach and marginalised groups”. Read the rest of this entry »

Muslims in Derby, England, caught on CCTV approaching teenage girls

Officers investigating the unsolved disappearance of Charlene Downes in Blackpool in 2003 discovered that dozens more 13 to 15 year old girls from the area had fallen victim to grooming or sexual abuse, it was claimed.

An unpublished police report identified 11 takeaway shops in the town centre which were being used as “honeypots” where the non-white men preyed on young white victims, who were given food, alcohol and cigarettes in return for sex. Read the rest of this entry »

Azad Ali: The British Police seem to think that the man who thinks killing coalition troops in Iraq is OK, should be their chief liaison link with UK Muslims

Scotland Yard will now face pressure to renounce Azad Ali, the new chair of the Muslim Safety Forum, which is recognised by the Met under a formal written agreement as “the principal body in relation to Muslim community safety and security”.

The deal says that the Met will “use the MSF as a consultation body to help formulate policy or practice”. Mr Ali was the founding chair of the MSF in 2006, but left that job in 2008 and resigned entirely from the group last year after publicity over his extremist comments.
