Noor al-Maleki's murdering father will escape the death penalty

Have Muslims been exempted from the death penalty in the United States?

It appears even America is not immune to the disease of dhimmitude and cultural cringe towards Islam, a phenomenon that is infecting judiciaries all over the Western world:

Glendale [Arizona] man accused of slaying his daughter in an “honour killing” will not face the death penalty.

After sparring with the suspect’s defence attorney over its death penalty review process, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office has said it will not seek death for Faleh Almaleki, 49.

The Iraqi immigrant is accused of slaying his daughter, 20-year-old Noor Almaleki, for being “too Westernised.”

Police say he used his Jeep Cherokee to run down his daughter and another woman in a Peoria parking lot Oct. 20. Noor Almaleki later died of her injuries. Read the rest of this entry »

The Price of Sharia: What kind of 'law' permits this savagery?

Memo to long time Islamic finance fan Gordon Brown: you can’t pick and chose with Sharia:

A 13-year-old Saudi schoolgirl is to be given 90 lashes in front of her classmates after she was caught with a mobile camera phone.The girl, who has not been named, was also sentenced to two months in jail by a court in the eastern city of Jubail.

She had assaulted her headmistress after being caught with the gadget which is banned in girl schools, said Al-Watan, a Saudi newspaper. The kingdom’s use of such punishments has been widely condemned by human rights organisations. Three years ago 16 schoolchildren, aged between 12 and 18, were each sentenced to between 300 and 500 lashes for being aggressive to a teacher.

Under Saudi’s Sharia or Islamic law, flogging is mandatory for a number of moral offences such as adultery or being alone in the company of an unrelated person of the opposite sex. But it can also be used at the discretion of judges as an alternative or in addition to other punishments. Read the rest of this entry »

Police have identified children as young as seven being groomed for terrorism, with some expressing a wish to become suicide bombers.

What the Taliban do to schools (and schoolchildren)

A special school security wing (SSSW) of the police has been set up in Pakistan’s Malakand division, which has faced the ire of militants who have destroyed over 200 schools, an official said.

‘We have established the SSSW to ensure protection to the schools, colleges and university all over Malakand,’ Mohammad Idrees Khan, deputy inspector general (DIG) of police, Malakand, told The News Monday.

The wing is headed by an inspector who is assisted by two sub-inspectors, four assistant sub-inspectors and other police personnel that monitor the security of the educational institutions in Swat. Read the rest of this entry »

Just a short post for those that haven’t seen this, or any of  its predecessors – it’s a weekly children’s programme, ‘Tomorrow’s Pioneers‘, produced by Hamas-run Al Aqsa TV, in which a young ‘Palestinian’ girl, Saraa Barhoum, and an unidentified man dressed in various animal character costumes (this week it’s ‘Nassur’ the bear), inculcate innocent children in Gaza to hate Israel and the Jews.

A phone-in is usually included, too –  with other children singing down the telephone line about how they’d also like to kill Jews – or the ’sons of apes and pigs’ as they sometimes jokingly like to refer to them. How we laughed.

The three Muslim sex offenders who organised a child abuse ring

THREE men who groomed a vulnerable teenage girl for sex were jailed for a total of 18 years yesterday.

Mohammed Zackriya, 21, of Springfield Road, Keighley, Mohammed Taj, 37 of Broughton Road, Skipton and Mohammed Shabir (Snr), a 36-year-old, father-of-five, of awk Street, Keighley, were convicted of 28 sexual offences on Thursday against the girl who cannot be named for legal reasons. We don't make this up: children train as homicide bombers at S. Waziristan camp

Pakistan’s top Taliban leader, Baitullah Mehsud, is buying children as young as 7 to serve as suicide bombers in the growing spate of attacks against Pakistani, Afghan and U.S. targets, U.S. Defense Department and Pakistani officials say.

A Pakistani official, who spoke on the condition that he not be named because of the sensitive nature of the topic, said the going price for child bombers was $7,000 to $14,000 – huge sums in Pakistan, where per-capita income is about $2,600 a year. Read the rest of this entry »

Six men are on trial accused of sexual offences in Keighley and Skipton, including the “grooming” and rape of a young teenage girl.

The victim, who is now in her late teens, cannot be named for legal reasons.

A catalogue of sexual offences are alleged to have been committed against her between April 2005 and April 2007.

The defendants, who face a total of 31 charges – including rape – are Keighley men Mohammed Zackriya, 21, of Springfield Road, Abid Ali, 27, of Cark Road, Shahid Iqbal, 25, of Nightingale Street, Raj Mohammed Shabir, 32, referred to in court as Shabir Junior, of Neville Street, Mohammed Shabir, 36, referred to as Shabir Senior, of Hawk Street, and Mohammed Taj, 37, of Aireview Terrace, Skipton, The court heard many of the alleged incidents took place at Caesars Pizza takeaway shop in Newmarket Street, Skipton, which is owned by Shabir Senior. A Saudi judge has refused for a second time to annul a marriage between an 8-year-old girl and a 47-year-old man, a relative of the girl told CNN. The most recent ruling, in which the judge upheld his original verdict, was handed down Saturday in the Saudi city of Onaiza, where late last year the same judge rejected a petition from the girl’s mother, who was seeking a divorce for her daughter.

The relative said the judge, Sheikh Habib Al-Habib, “stuck by his earlier verdict and insisted that the girl could petition the court for a divorce once she reached puberty.” The family member, who requested anonymity, added that the mother will continue to pursue a divorce for her daughter.
