UK University Heads Say They ‘Can Do Little’ About Islamic Extremism on Campus
..Oh yes they can. And the time has come for them to be forced to:
Islamic fundamentalism is being allowed to flourish at universities, endangering national security, MPs and peers said yesterday.
Academics are turning a blind eye to radicals because they do not want to spy on students, a report claimed.
Despite “damning evidence” of a serious problem, little progress had been made in tackling the unsustainable situation, the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Homeland Security said.
They urged the Government to tackle the issue on campuses with “utmost urgency”.
Such extremism “endangers our security at home and has international implications that are serious enough to threaten our alliance relationships”, said the group, which includes the former home secretary Lord Reid.
Secret files obtained by The Daily Telegraph and WikiLeaks disclosed this week that at least 35 terrorists held at Guantánamo Bay were indoctrinated by extremists in Britain. The leaked documents, written by senior US military commanders, illustrated how Britain effectively became a crucible of terrorism over the course of two decades. Finland Harbours Chechen Terror Supporters – Priest Charged For Saying So
Welcome to the EUSSR – with added Shariah:
Russia’s number one outlaw Chechen terrorist Doku Umarov is also high-up on the international most-wanted list. But it seems one of Russia’s neighbors isn’t interested in helping bring him to justice.
Priest Juha Molari is receiving threats, and faces being defrocked for speaking out against Doku Umarov and his internet mouthpiece, the Kavkaz-Centre.
“I use the word terrorist. They use the word President,” Molari explains.
The site was the first to publish the terrorist’s words on the attacks he claims – the Beslan school siege, the Nevsky express and Moscow metro bombings, and most recently – the Domodedovo airport attack. Read the rest of this entry »
Iran Rounds Up 70 Christians Since Christmas in Latest Crackdown

Iranian Christians attend Christmas mass at Tehran's St. Grigor Armenian Catholic church, last month.
Iran has arrested about 70 Christians since Christmas in a crackdown that demonstrates the limits of religious tolerance by Islamic leaders who often boast they provide room for other faiths.
The latest raids have targeted grass-roots Christian groups Iran describes as “hard-liners” who pose a threat to the Islamic state. Authorities increasingly view them with suspicions that range from trying to convert Muslims to being possible footholds for foreign influence.
Christian activists claim their Iranian brethren are being persecuted simply for worshipping outside officially sanctioned mainstream churches. Read the rest of this entry »
US Attorney General ‘Reassures’ Muslims DoJ Isn’t Biased Against Them
Just why do Western politicians seem to feel it obligatory to justify themselves to (and prostrate themselves before) Muslims, at every opportunity?
Attorney General Eric Holder reiterated his resolve to prosecute hate crimes while standing behind the methods used in anti-terrorism cases during a speech Friday night before a Muslim advocacy group near San Francisco.
Speaking to Muslim Advocates, a San Francisco-based group, Holder told the group that he’s heard from many Muslim and Arab Americans who feel uneasy and singled out by law enforcement. Read the rest of this entry »
Pak. Islamic Council Threatens Anarchy if ‘Blasphemy’ Woman Not Executed

We wonder where that will come from?
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s most influential Sunni Muslim alliance urged the government Friday not to pardon a Christian mother sentenced to death for blasphemy, warning that it would lead to nationwide anarchy.
Politicians and conservative clerics are at loggerheads on whether President Asif Ali Zardari should pardon Aasia Bibi, a mother of five sentenced to hang for defaming Prophet Mohammad under blasphemy laws.
While a growing number of moderate politicians have backed calls for clemency for Aasia, religious conservatives have organised a rival campaign.
“The pardon would lead to anarchy in the country,” the head of Sunni Ittehad Council, Sahibzada Fazal Kareem, told AFP.
“Our stand is very clear that this punishment cannot be waived.” Read the rest of this entry »
