How Leftists Stir Jerusalem Housing Riots, Biased BBC Shills, EU Pays
Note: video is a Playlist and all three parts will play in sequence automatically
The proxy Jihad unrest over housing in East Jerusalem we touched on briefly last summer shows no signs of letting up. As the report below from today’s Jerusalem Post shows, tensions are still high; and riots and fighting are almost daily occurrences.
But what you probably don’t know is who’s pulling the strings. And, as the recent (and unsurprisingly completely slanted) video from the BBC’s Panorama programme above illustrates, it’s extremely unlikely you’d get to find out if you relied on the mainstream media:
The Shuafat refugee camp was the scene of renewed rioting on Tuesday, a day after clashes between young Palestinian residents and security forces in the sprawling east Jerusalem neighbourhood left four police officers and a border policeman lightly injured.
No injuries were reported by police on Tuesday afternoon. However, nine Palestinians were arrested for throwing rocks at security forces during the renewed clashes, bringing the total number of arrests in Shuafat over the past two days to 34. Read the rest of this entry »
Anti-Israel Swedish FM Praises Turkish Foreign Policy, Touts Early EU Entry
…i.e. ‘Bash Israel, cosy up to Islamist dictatorships’ – and raises the spectre that should alarm every European citizen – an early EU entry for Turkey, a country descending rapidly into radicalism. Introducing Carl Bildt, major player in the Islamisation of Europe:
Turkey’s emergence as a strong foreign policy player in its region is making some people nervous, but Sweden’s foreign minister says the country’s step forward is good for everyone and calls for more dialogue with Ankara. ‘Very little would have happened in the last 50 years without political leadership. We need to overcome the burden of the past,’ he says
Turkey’s geo-strategic location and its increasingly dynamic foreign policy are advantages for Europe and the country’s European Union aspirations, according to Sweden’s Foreign Minister Carl Bildt. Read the rest of this entry »
Israeli Ambassador to UK Speaks Truth to Idiocy
In a response to recent legal moves by group of Jihad-supporting lawyers, far-left groups (and possibly now Hamas, it is emerging), Ron Prosor, Israel’s Ambassador to the UK has some frank words that the British establishment, trades union movement and academia really need to hear:
In British NGOs, trade unions and universities, an obsession to delegitimise and demonise the Jewish State has come to characterise the daily routine.
This month, a Westminster magistrate was persuaded to issue an arrest warrant for one of Israel’s leading international figures, the head of the opposition and former foreign minister, Tzipi Livni. Read the rest of this entry »
More Litigation Jihad: Israel Opposition Leader’s UK Visit Shelved
An arrest warrant obtained by a group of far left and Jihadi-sympathising lawyers once again prevents a senior figure from a nation allied with Britain from visiting the country:
The Foreign Ministry on Tuesday called for an end to the “absurd situation” in which arrest warrants were being issued to Israeli officials over alleged war crimes in the Gaza Strip.
“Only actions can put an end to this absurd situation, which would have seemed a comedy of errors were it not so serious,” said the Foreign Ministry, a day after it emerged that opposition leader Tzipi Livni had canceled her trip to Britain after a warrant was issued for her arrest. UK Govt. Promotes Israel Goods Boycott – Then Denies It

Early influences: example of previous efforts to sanction Jewish business
A Hanukkah gift from the British government to the people of Israel. Enable and encourage boycott – then deny boycott. Fairly typical New Labour anti-Israel tactics, which should please (and was possibly initiated by) its leftist Union paymasters:
The government’s recommendation is not a legal requirement but does increase the prospects of a consumer boycott of products from those territories.
Israeli officials and settler leaders have criticised the decision.
Until now, food has been simply labelled “Produce of the West Bank”, but the new, voluntary guidance issued by the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), says labels could give more precise information, like “Israeli settlement produce” or “Palestinian produce”, the Guardian reports. Jerusalem: Checkpoint Jihad Caught on Video
For those that ever wondered why Israel has stringent checkpoints (or have criticised her for having them), between herself and ‘Palestine’. WARNING – although not particularly graphic, the footage is nonetheless disturbing:
A video posted on the Youtube video sharing website shows a young Palestinian woman stabbing a security guard at the Qalandiya checkpoint north of Jerusalem.
The attack took place on October 25. A female terrorist in her 20s pulled out a knife she had been hiding in her clothes and stabbed one of the security guards at the checkpoint in his lower abdomen.
The two-minute video shows the guards checking the woman’s items in an x-ray machine. When shift their gaze from her for a moment, she seizes the opportunity to quickly pull out a knife and attack. Read the rest of this entry »
Lebanese Military and Hizballah – Becoming Interchangeable?

Not fireworks: Deadly Iran-made and supplied Katyusha rockets have been fired by Hizballah at Israel with increasing regularity
An object lesson in Islamist duplicity:
Lebanon’s army chief, Jean Kahwaji, called on his soldiers to be wary and to prepare defences along the border for a possible Israeli attack, the London-based Al-Quds Al-Arabi reported Saturday.
In a statement published in honour of Lebanon’s Independence Day, the general said soldiers should prepare “to handle what the Israeli enemy is scheming against the homeland, and to continue the battle against its violations – in the air, water, and land – with all the tools at our disposal”. Gaza Gift Shop Markets Souvenir Goldstone Scarves

Hero: Goldstone-branded souvenir goods on sale in Gaza
South African Judge Richard Goldstone’s name may be infamous in Israel, but in the Gaza Strip it is sewn onto souvenir Palestinian headscarves in honour of his controversial war inquiry.
Tariq Abu Dia, owner of the President Arafat souvenir shop in Gaza City, says Goldstone, who is Jewish, deserves the honour of appearing on the iconic Palestinian keffiyeh made famous by Yasser Arafat, for whom the shop is named.
“Today we put out 50 keffiyehs made of white fabric with the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem and the name ‘Goldstone’ embroidered on them, to honour his work,” Abu Dia says, as he shows off one of the scarves. Read the rest of this entry »
Disfigured Hamas Rocket Victim Confronts Goldstone at UN
U.N. Human Rights Council witnesses dramatic face-off when head of controversial UN “fact-finding” mission on Gaza unexpectedly confronted by one of his own witnesses. Dr. Mirela Siderer, an Israeli doctor brutally disfigured by a 2008 rocket attack fired from Gaza into her Ashkelon medical clinic, pointedly accused Judge Richard Goldstone of ignoring her July oral testimony in his report, and of failing to disclose material information concerning the mandate and members of the mission.
Both declared Israel guilty in advance. Testimony arranged by the Geneva human rights organization UN Watch
Watch and remember – you will get very few chances to see such testimony, as the Western mainstream media continues shilling for Hamas and Fatah and ignoring the plight of the residents of Israeli towns unfortunate enough to lie close to Gaza; who have bravely borne the brunt of thousands of rocket attacks from Muslim terrrorists.
Rice Urges End to Anti-Israel Vitriol at UN

US Ambassador to the UN calls for anti-Israel hatred at the UN to stop
Good luck with that..
US ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice called on Wednesday for an end to “anti-Israel vitriol” at the United Nations, where the General Assembly is expected to debate a Gaza war crimes report.
“Member states must once and for all replace anti-Israeli vitriol with recognition of Israel’s legitimacy and right to exist in peace and security,” she said at a conference in Jerusalem organised by President Shimon Peres.
She also stressed Washington’s commitment to fighting extremism. Read the rest of this entry »
