The Media is Covering Up The Muslim Genocide Against Christians in Egypt
Weasel words: why do the world's mainstream media seem to be playing down the organised and religiously-sanctioned attacks on Christians in Muslim countries?

…and elsewhere. Just why are they playing down the systemic (and Allah-sanctioned, of course) persecution and religious genocide of Coptic Christians in Egypt and Christians in other Arab Spring™ countries; almost to the point of portraying them as irritating playground squabbles?
Egypt stepped up security around churches in Cairo Monday after two days of clashes attacks between against minority Christians and by Muslims that killed 12 people Christians and highlighted rising inter-faith tensions Christian persecution.

JAKARTA – Indonesia said Thursday that the nation was on its highest level of alert ahead of Easter after police arrested suspects over a suspected Easter Book Bombing Campaign by Muslims.
Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto said the Indonesian president “has instructed military, police, and people who care about combating terrorism to ensure security ahead of Easter”.
“Starting tonight, tomorrow morning and on easter day, the military and the police will be on the highest alert at all designated places,” Suyanto said.
National police spokesman Anton Bachrul Alam said that anti-terror police have arrested a total of 19 people, including two in Aceh province, north Sumatra. Read the rest of this entry »

Former soldier Colin Atkinson has been summoned to a disciplinary hearing by the giant housing association where he has been employed for 15 years because he refuses to remove the symbol.
Mr Atkinson, a regular worshipper at church, said: ‘The treatment of Christians in this country is becoming diabolical…but I will stand up for my faith.’
Throughout his time at work, he has had an 8in-long cross made from woven palm leaves attached to the dashboard shelf below his windscreen without receiving a single complaint.

A Pakistani Christian woman and mother of seven, who last August was kidnapped, raped, sold into marriage and threatened with death if she did not convert to Islam was freed this week.
After she refused to convert and accept the marriage, human traffickers had threatened to kill Shaheen Bibi, 40, and throw her body into the Sindh River if her father, Manna Masih, did not pay a ransom of 100,000 rupees (US$1,170) by Saturday (March 5), the released woman told Compass.

LAHORE, Pakistan – Christians in south Punjab Province are accusing senior district officials of supporting local Muslims who allegedly demolished 150 Christian graves and desecrated holy relics – and are now threatening Christians seeking legal redress.
In the Kot Addu area of Muzaffargarh district, Waseem Shakir told Compass by telephone that an influential Muslim group last Nov. 6 took illegal possession of a 1,210-square yard piece of land designated as a Christian cemetery and set up shops on it. Official records state that the portion of land was allotted as a Christian cemetery, he said.
“Local Muslims demolished 150 Christians’ graves and desecrated the cross and biblical inscriptions on the graves in a bid to construct shops on the property,” said Shakir, a resident of Chak (Village) 518, Peer Jaggi Morr, Kot Addu. “Only five marlas [151.25 square yards] are all that is left for the Christians to bury their dead now.” Read the rest of this entry »
