At Least Five EU States Back Burka Ban – Poll

As France debates banning the wearing of the burka, it is reported that over half of voters in four other major EU countries – UK, Italy, Spain and Germany. – also support Sarkozy in his attempt to rid France of Oppressionwear.
We can’t help but wonder what the results of this survey would reveal were it repeated across the other 22 member states.
The Financial Times commissioned the survey and has the full story here (registration may be required).
Amnesty International and Cageprisoners: Statement By Gita Sahgal
Amnesty International and Cageprisoners: Statement by Gita Sahgal
7 February 2010
This morning the Sunday Times published an article about Amnesty International’s association with groups that support the Taliban and promote Islamic Right ideas. In that article, I was quoted as raising concerns about Amnesty’s very high profile associations with Guantanamo-detainee Moazzam Begg. I felt that Amnesty International was risking its reputation by associating itself with Begg, who heads an organization, Cageprisoners, that actively promotes Islamic Right ideas and individuals.
Within a few hours of the article being published, Amnesty had suspended me from my job. Read the rest of this entry »
Top Dhimmi Blogger Claims: ‘Universities Don’t Create Radicals’
An article in the Guardian today by respected journalist and blogger Sunny Hundal claims that the Flight 253 bomber, Abdul Farouk Abdulmutallab – the Muslim terrorist peaceful religionist who attempted to blow up a Delta Airlines Airbus A330 on final approach into Detriot Airport – couldn’t possibly have been ‘radicalised’ at University, because ‘Universities don’t create Radicals’.
Abdulmutallab studied at London’s University College (UCL) and was elected chairman of its radical Islamic Society whilst there.
Hundal’s article lacks supporting information and his central arguments are erroneous – confusingly, he conflates the notion that Universities produce radicals with their need for free speech and civil liberty, as if the former is necessarily a product of the latter – and we’re supposed to live with it.
Well, there’s radical and there’s raving nutjob dangerous radical, Sunny.
His second argument centres on the universities’ role – his limp excuse here being a hand-washing ‘what are they supposed to do to stop it?; which leaves the reader with little other than a rather sizeable straw man. Read the rest of this entry »
Jihad In The USA: Ex Muslim’s Boston Uni Speech Suffers Arson Attack

Ex-Muslim author Nonie Darwish, whose speech at Boston University was interrupted by suspected arson
Muslim Interest groups and money are ruthlessly strangling free debate at American Ivy League Universities and beyond:
Author Nonie Darwish, whose new book warns of the advance of Islamic law in the West, completed a scheduled speech at Boston University but not without the interruption of an apparent arson in a nearby restroom.
Darwish, whose recently scheduled addresses at both Columbia and Princeton were canceled following Islamic opposition, said the students who arranged her Boston University appearance this week believe the fire was an attempt to hinder her message. Read the rest of this entry »
Swimming with Muslims? In Britain, You’ll Have to Wear a Burkini

Want to swim with the Muslimas, Madam? You'll need Sharia-compliant swimwear.."
British swimming pools are imposing Muslim dress codes in a move described as divisive by Labour MPs.
Under the rules, swimmers – including non-Muslims – are barred from entering the pool in normal swimming attire.
Instead they are told that they must comply with the “modest” code of dress required by Islamic custom, with women covered from the neck to the ankles and men, who swim separately, covered from the navel to the knees. Read the rest of this entry »
Thug4Allah: Abu Izzadeen Goes Back to Infidel Jail

Back to infidel jail for thug Trevor - we can't say we're sad
Radical Muslim preacher Abu Izzadeen has been returned to prison after breaching the terms of his release, BBC News understands.
Izzadeen, also knows as Omar Brooks, was released from prison in May after his four-and-a-half-year sentence for inciting terrorism was cut on appeal.
He was found guilty in 2008 of urging worshippers at a London mosque to fight US and British troops in Iran. Read the rest of this entry »
Back very soon…

Normal service will be resumed shortly
Having not had a break for ages, we’ve decided to take advantage of the nice weather over here in the UK at the moment, packed up the Un:dhimmi-mobile and are going to the beach for a couple of days to recharge our batteries.
Even dedicated Counterjihadists need a break sometimes: no burkas, no Anjem, no whimpering Dhimmis, no Barry – just the sheer, natural beauty of the English South Coast… plus wholesome food, great beer, sunshine and lazy beaches..
See you soon
