What were once Europe’s beacons of tolerance and human development are becoming cesspools of antisemitic hatred, as the violence and intimidation from the Islamo-left alliance accelerates towards Pogrom levels in parts of Scandinavia. From the excellent Finnish blog Tundra Tabloids, the latest from Malmöstan:

Forget about the mythical unicorn of “Islamophobia”, with more Muslims wanting to pour into Europe than ever before, the Organization of the Islamic Conference’s habitual “cry of wolf”, is falling on deaf ears. Jewish communities are being pressured in every quarter of Europe, save Finland, with Jews heading for greener pastures elsewhere as politicians choose to be more attentive to their larger Muslim constituency, at the expense of their smaller Jewish communities.  The appalling persecution of Egyptian Christians by Muslims, tolerated and facilitated by the Egyptian authorities, reached a new nadir this week:

 An Egyptian court in the southern city of Assuit acquitted this week four Muslims accused of killing 61-year-old Farouk Attallah on October 19, 2009. In broad daylight and in full view of witnesses, the killers fired 31 bullets to his head before beheading him, in the busy village market place of Attaleen, near Dairout, 313 kilometers south of Cairo. The dead body was then dragged in the street, accompanied by shouts of victory. Free Copts website published a video of the disfigured body (WARNING: extemely graphic and upsetting content).

The judge presiding over the court on February 22, said that he was not satisfied that the testimony of the witnesses established that the imprisoned men were the killers. After the acquittal of Mohamad, Ashraf, Osama and Ahmad Hassouna, there was jubilation in the court room, with shouts of ‘Allah is Great’ and congratulations from all Muslims, including members of the state security forces who were present.

Christians were enraged over the acquittal, since similar cases would result in life imprisonment or execution for a Copt if the victim was a Muslim. Read the rest of this entry »

Threats and harassment are becoming increasingly commonplace for Jewish residents in Malmö in southern Sweden, leading many Jews to leave the city out of fear for their safety.

“Threats against Jews have increased steadily in Malmö in recent years and many young Jewish families are choosing to leave the city,” Fredrik Sieradzki of the Jewish Community of Malmö (Judiska Församlingen i Malmö) told The Local.

“Many feel that the community and local politicians have shown a lack of understanding for how the city’s Jewish residents have been marginalised.”

Last year there were 79 crimes against Jewish residents reported to the police in Malmö, roughly double the number reported in 2008, according to the Skånska Dagbladet newspaper. Read the rest of this entry »

The proxy Jihad unrest over housing in East Jerusalem we touched on briefly last summer shows no signs of letting up. As the report below from today’s Jerusalem Post shows, tensions are still high; and riots and fighting are almost daily occurrences.

But what you probably don’t know is who’s pulling the strings. And, as the recent (and unsurprisingly completely slanted) video from the BBC’s Panorama programme above illustrates, it’s extremely unlikely you’d get to find out if you relied on the mainstream media:

The Shuafat refugee camp was the scene of renewed rioting on Tuesday, a day after clashes between young Palestinian residents and security forces in the sprawling east Jerusalem neighbourhood left four police officers and a border policeman lightly injured.

No injuries were reported by police on Tuesday afternoon. However, nine Palestinians were arrested for throwing rocks at security forces during the renewed clashes, bringing the total number of arrests in Shuafat over the past two days to 34. Read the rest of this entry »

Disturbing, eye-opening documentary footage detailing the slow-motion annihilation of one of the world’s oldest Christian communities (hat tip to Claudia at the excellent Tea & Politics).

To a greater or lesser degree, this is what Christian communities suffer in virtually every Muslim country on the planet – but nowhere is Islamic supremacism brought into such sharp relief as when it occurs here – in the home of victimology. Show it to everyone you know.

Hmm… we wonder why?

It seems the international mainstream media were clearly so shocked by the fact that Pakistani lawyers, adherents of the one religion on the planet that condones sex with underage children and the ill-treatment of members of other religions were forcibly preventing legal action that would challenge such behaviour to go ahead – that they didn’t bother to report on the story:

No lawyer comes forward to defend Shazia Bashir, the servant girl murdered by her employer. The powerful association of lawyers in Lahore, arrayed in defence of the murderer, launches death threats and prevents access to the Court. Christian Association condemns this new form of terrorism.

Because of the threats posed by the powerful Lahore Bar Association – an umbrella organisation of city lawyers – no Christian or Muslim lawyer is ready to take on the defence in the murder of 12 year-old Shazia Bashir, it was reported yesterday by The Pakistani Christian association that deals with legal assistance. Hundreds of Christians, Hindus, Jews, Sikhs and others turned out in support of Egypt’s violently persecuted Copts in New York this week.

Just before many in the West began to wind down for Christmas, an atrocity was committed at a remote Hindu Temple in North West India, near the Bangladesh border.

The Kali temple, at  Kankra village , Kachua Panchaye, was desecrated. The Murthi icon figure was stripped and its genital area vandalised and burnt. This place of worship, a famous and holy place to Hindus, is visited by hundreds of thousands of pilgrims every year.

So let’s see:

• Adherents of the affected religion increasingly in the minority in the area – check
• Violent vandalism of another faith’s place of worship – check
• Attacks on non-Muslims on the increase in the area - check
• Peurile sexual disfigurement of religious symbols – check
• Robbery/looting – check
• Local lefties dismissing the attack as an ‘isolated incident’ – check
• Police seemingly doing nothing – check

Who do you think might have beeen responsible for such an outrage?

Following on from our report on the persecution of Christians by Iraqi Muslims the other day, when it comes to depraved violence against non-Muslims in Muslim countries is concerned, Islamists seldom disappoint. And, as usual with the anti-Christian aspect of  Jihad, the Western mainstream media is virtually silent:

The Chaldean Church of St. George and Syriac Orthodox Church of St. Thomas hit. One bomb was hidden in a cart carrying vegetables. The explosion killed a Chaldean Christian and two Muslims. The Archbishop of Kirkuk said that the attacks sent a “disturbing message” to Iraqi Christians two days before Christmas. Read the rest of this entry »

As we approach Christmas, Christians in Iraq are wondering whether they’d have been better off under Saddam. This answer, remarkably, is almost certainly yes:

It could be a scene from a Victorian Christmas card. The young people gather in the church, decorating a tree, while in the background the choir rehearses for Christmas Day — the tune of God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen playing out.
