Pakistan Floods: If You Need Help, You’d Better Not Be Christian

Pakistanis waiting for aid - but Christians and those of other non-Muslim faiths are being denied help
As always in Islamic countries – how you are treated depends on which religion you adhere to. And take it from us, you really had better be Muslim in Pakistan. in addition to the everyday beatings, killings, rape, police brutality and legal discrimination, it appears that even charity in time of crisis is conditional:
Christians and members of other minority religions are being treated as second-class citizens, said Father Mario Rodrigues, the Lahore-based director of Catholic Mission.
“They often receive little assistance or are excluded altogether,” he told Fides, the Vatican’s news agency.
Aid is being delivered by “government officials sympathetic to Islamic fundamentalism or by Muslim relief organisations”, Fides claimed in its report, citing other unnamed aid workers. Read the rest of this entry »
A Tale of Two Cities: Copts Call Muslim Hypocrisy over Ground Zero Mosque

What happened the last time someone tried to build a Christian Church in Modern, Progressive Malaysia™
As ever, as Muslims and their left-wing camp followers attack everyday Americans – the overwheming majority of whom agree that it is an act of gross insensitivity for the Cordoba Initiative to construct its ‘Park 51′ mosque and ‘community centre’ near the site of the 9/11 atrocity – it’s one rule for the Ummah and another for everyone else.
The AINA” Eastern Christian site exposes the hypocrites and their fallacious arguments in an excellent piece this morning:
Egyptians, Muslims and Christians alike, are closely watching the controversy associated with the Ground Zero Mosque project, though for different reasons. The Egyptian media is giving this issue full coverage with articles mostly accusing Americans of Islamophobia, and supporting Muslims to hold on to their rights to build a mosque anywhere as guaranteed by the US constitution, regardless of what Americans think.
On the other hand, some influential Muslims rejected the idea of a Mosque near Ground Zero only on grounds that it would backfire on Islam, by connecting it to the 9/11 events. Dr. AbdelMotey Bayoumi, a member of Al Azhar’s Islamic Research Academy, believes it could be a “Zionist conspiracy” to harm Islam. Read the rest of this entry »
Christians Have Church Confiscated, Are Then Beaten While Praying in Field
Persecuting Christians with violence? Beating up women to chants of ‘Alahu Akbar’? Police essentially facilitating? Time once again to play ‘Guess the Religion™’ in Indonesia:
The congregation of the HKBP Filadelfia church in Bekasi, West Java, demanded justice from the National Police after a fifth attack by the Islamic Community Forum (FUI) left more than a dozen people injured on Sunday.
Members of Huria Kristen Batak Protestan in Jejalen Jaya subdistrict, home to around 1,500 congregation members, were about to begin their Sunday service at 8 a.m. on the street in front of their sealed church construction site. Read the rest of this entry »
Turkish Government, Public, Harassing Christian Businesses
EU-candidate Turkey continues its slide into intolerant third-world Islamocracy, under the guidance of the AKP government:
A Syriac Christian in southeast Turkey has run into bureaucratic obstacles in his efforts to start a wine factory that he believes have been put in his way because alcohol is forbidden by Islam.
“They would not sell me iron and cement; the tractor driver did not come,” Yuhanna Aktaş wrote in a letter to daily Radikal. “I could not find a food engineer for months and could only find a chemist from Diyarbakır. Because [they say producing wine] is a sin.”
The Syriac Christian and Turkish citizen living in the Midyat district of the southeastern province of Mardin has built a wine factory but said he has been unable to secure a water supply and a road for the facility. Read the rest of this entry »
Caught on Hidden Camera: Muslim Jew Hatred in Amsterdam
The developed world – and in partcular Europe – continues in its downward slide towards pernicious (but not unprecedented) anti-Semitism:
(video is in Dutch, but you will get the idea. It’s also encoded in nasty Microsoft Silverlight – download it here if you don’t see the video).
Reports of increased anti-Semitism and a secret video showing Jews harassed on the street in Amsterdam have prompted Dutch authorities to consider using “decoy Jews” — undercover officers wearing yarmulkes — to combat hate crimes.
No decision has yet been made to use the tactic. But the country’s justice minister and Amsterdam’s acting mayor both say they are considering it. And advocacy groups say intimidation has become a serious issue for Jews in the Netherlands. Read the rest of this entry »
