Shimon Peres claims that the English are anti-Semitic. He is wide of the mark, scapegoating a whole nation for the actions of a vocal and powerful minority:

Shimon Peres said England was “deeply pro-Arab … and anti-Israeli”, adding: “They always worked against us.”
He added: “There is in England a saying that an anti-Semite is someone who hates the Jews more than is necessary.”

His remarks, made in an interview on a Jewish website, provoked anger from senior MPs and Jewish leaders who said the 87-year-old president had “got it wrong”. But other groups backed the former Israeli prime minister and said the number of anti-semitic incidents had risen dramatically in the UK in recent years.

The controversy follows the furore last week over David Cameron’s remark that Gaza was a “prison camp”, as he urged Israel to allow aid and people to move freely in and out of the Palestinian territory.

Mr Peres, a Nobel Peace Prize winner who is three years into his seven-year term as president and was awarded an honorary knighthood by the Queen in 2008, said that England’s attitude towards Jews was Israel’s “next big problem”.

“There are several million Muslim voters, and for many members of parliament, that’s the difference between getting elected and not getting elected,” he said.
“And in England there has always been something deeply pro-Arab, of course, not among all Englishmen, and anti-Israeli, in the establishment.

“They abstained in the [pro-Zionist] 1947 UN partition resolution … They maintained an arms embargo against us in the 1950s … They always worked against us. They think the Arabs are the underdogs.” By contrast, relations with Germany, France and Italy were “pretty good”, he added.

He made the comments in an interview with the historian Professor Benny Morris of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev published last week in Tablet, a Jewish news website.

The wide-ranging interview covered Mr Peres’ role as one of Israel’s longest-serving political leaders – an MP for 48 years, twice prime minister, and holder of other ministerial posts over the decades. He is firmly on the Israeli Left.
He was awarded Nobel Peace Prize in 1994 jointly with Yitzhak Rabin and Yasser Arafat for his part as foreign minister in the peace talks which produced the landmark Oslo Accords.

But following his comments, James Clappison, the Conservative MP for Hertsmere and vice-chairman of Conservative Friends of Israel, said: “Mr Peres has got this wrong. “There are pro- and anti-Israel views in all European countries. Things are certainly no worse, as far as Israel is concerned, in this country than other European countries.”

The MP added that he could “understand the frustration” that people in Israel felt with “certain elements of the British broadcast media” which present an unbalanced view of Israel.
He said: “I can understand Mr Peres’ concerns, but I don’t recognise what he is saying about England.”

Yet in Israel, Mr Peres is far from alone in holding such views, which have gained a wider following, particularly on the Right, since the expulsion of an Israeli diplomat over accusations that Mossad sent agents using British passports to assassinate a Hamas commander in Dubai.

Aryeh Eldad, a right-wing member of the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, accused Britain of working against Israeli interests for decades – ever since it “betrayed” its promises to build a Jewish homeland when it governed Palestine under a League of Nations mandate.

“Both governments from the right and the left prefer Arab interests over Israeli interests,” said Mr Eldad, whose father Israel was a leading figure in the Stern Gang, the most radical of the Jewish terror groups that fought British mandatory rule.

“The other layer is an ongoing, subtle form of anti-semitism. It is not as overt as it was in Germany, it is a quiet, polite form.”

Some leading Jewish commentators in Britain disagreed. Rabbi Dr Jonathan Romain, minister of Maidenhead synagogue and a writer and broadcaster, said: “I am surprised at Peres. It is a sweeping statement that is far too one-sided.

“Britain has supported both Israel and Arab causes at different periods over the last 50 years. There are elements of anti-semitism but it is not endemic to British society.

“The tolerance and pluralism here make Britain one of the best countries in the world in which to live.”

Mr Peres found support, however, from other pro-Israeli groups. Jacob Vince, the director of Christian Friends of Israel, said there was anti-semitism in the UK although many people had a positive view of Israel but were unwilling to express it publicly.

Mr Vince said it was “difficult to see how many MPs would not be influenced by the number of Muslim voters in their constituencies”.

The Government was not treating Arabs as the underdogs but rather was trying to appease them, he said. “The question is how well they understand those with whom they are seeking conciliation.”
Mr Peres is “measured and moderate,” he added.

He said: “His comments have serious connotations and I am sure would not be said lightly.”
One Israeli politician expressed disbelief that the doveish Mr Peres had launched such a broadside against the British.

Benny Begin, a cabinet minister whose father Menachem was prime minister and before that leader of Irgun, the group that killed 91 people in an attack on Jerusalem’s King David Hotel in 1946, said: “Peres? I simply can’t believe he said that.”

The latest figures show that the number of anti-semitic incidents in Britain is rising, according to the Community Security Trust (CST), a charity set up in 1984 to monitor such incidents.

The situation in Britain had worsened “significantly” in the past decade, a spokesman said.
In 2009 there were 924 anti-semitic incidents, the highest figure since CST began keeping records in 1984, and 55 per cent higher than the previous record in 2006.

The figures include reports, accepted only when backed by evidence, of physical assaults, verbal abuse and racist graffiti. The monthly figure has soared from 10-20 incidents in the 1990s to 40-50 now.
Last year nearly half of the 924 anti-semitic race attacks recorded by the CST showed a political motivation, with 66 per cent of those including some reference to Israel and the Middle East.

A 2009 report by the US-based Anti-Defamation League found one in five Britons admitted Israel influences their opinion of British Jews, and the majority of those said that they felt “worse” about Jews than they used to. It found, however, that Britain was less anti-semitic than other European countries.

We at Un:dhimmi have the utmost respect for Mr. Peres. But he has committed a major faux pas with his comments.

He damns a whole nation for the actions of a few, conflating an entire people – one with a proven history of tolerance and a sense of fairness – with an irredeemable, self-inerested élite; comprising a sizeable swathe of the political class, much of academia, part of the media and the trades unions and the higher echelons of the Civil Service.

But in the context of a nation of over 60 million – and even though the power and influence they wield is disproportionally high – they are few in number.

It is also true that the creeping Islamisation wrought on this nation by this small élite has helped create pockets of political self interest – where pandering to Muslim demands, as opposed to being a real politician, arguing one’s points and taking the case to your constituents; has become the norm.

But do not assume that the rest of us Britons are happy about this. There is a deep and building feeling of frustration and revulsion to this appeasement and consequent Islamisation – so much so that in the last election, over half a million of them voted in exasperated protest for an extremist party that would, if given the opportunity of a mandate dismantle the infrastructure of Islam in Britain altogether.

We doubt whether this party would have more than a few thousand voters at best, in other circumstances.

Not one of the mainstream political parties reflects the true feelings of the British people – and the mafia-like grip of the powers-that-be will make it extremely difficult, if not impossible without a revolution – for a new movement to break through.

Britain has the fifth largest Jewish population in the world and it is increasing (unlike in other European countries), with no signs of El Al laying on extra Aliyah flights.

The (very, very low) incidence of antisemitic crime can normally be traced to the usual suspects – knuckle-dragging racists or (increasingly) radical Muslims. Jews in Britain are well-integrated, well-tolerated and are represented in every walk of life and at every level in British society.

President Peres, Sir, you are mistaken about us.

It is the malign forces of class élitism, multiculturalism, Islamism, leftism and political self interest that are anti-Semitic – not the British people.

Banned by the Government = Business as usual:

It appears that ‘Muslims Against Crusades’, Anjem Choudary’s terror-supporting band of beards (reconstituted from the banned Al-Muhajiroun); are once again spewing their hatred onto the streets of London.

The video, styled to resemble the Jihadist ‘war-porn’ propaganda videos of executions and bombings against westerners in Afghanistan and Iraq, shows the group – known for their distasteful protests at British soliders’ homecoming parades – outside the British Prime Minster’s residence in Downing Street protesting against British and US foreign policy, using the recent Wikileaks revelations about the fight against terrorism in Afghanistan as cover. But they don’t stop there.

The chants contain clear incitements and threats: “UK, Watch your back – Salahudeen is Coming back”, (referring the the so-called ‘liberator of al-Quds [Jerusalem], Salahudeen Ayyubi), and implying violent reprisals. They further warn of ‘new 7/7s, new 9/11s” if the infidels do not immediately withdraw from Afghanistan and Iraq.

They also make the usual call for Sharia Law in the UK.

But it’s what they don’t realise they are doing that’s far more interesting – and ultimately, cause for optimism. Their thuggish intolerance, ranting and calls for the barbaric, violent doctrine of Sharia to be implemented in the UK only serves to highlight the vast superiority of the free world’s own systems of democracy, liberty, equality and free speech – which allow them to behave like this the first place.

(the video might also provide some useful intelligence to the Department for Work and Pensions as to the availability for work of our ‘devout’ friends – a good number of whom will inevitably be claiming state benefits)

Keep on ranting, chaps.

Hope from horror: how one woman’s journey from Islamic terror victim to normality illustrates clearly the superiority of advanced western culture and shared values, over the violence and backwardness of Islamism and Sharia:

Amazing: the healing stages of Davinia Douglass, 7/7/ burns victim

A woman who suffered severe facial burns during the 7/7 terror attacks in London five years ago is showing off her new face to the world.

The image of Davinia Turrell holding a gauze mask to her injured face came to symbolise the horror of the bombings.

Five years on, her facial scars are gone thanks to specialists at London’s Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

To show her gratitude she is backing the hospital’s £50,000 fundraising appeal to help fellow burns victims.

Remarkable healing
The 29-year-old, who is now called Davinia Douglass after marrying last year, survived the fallout of the detonated bomb at Edgware Road station, but the “ball of fire” created in the carriage scorched the skin from the left side of her face.

Davinia told the Evening Standard: “I walked through the entire length of the train. I remember people screaming and sounding shocked as I walked through the back carriages.

Iconic Image of Davinia Douglass, helped by passer-by Paul Dadge on 7/7

“I didn’t realise I was injured, I was still in shock. I remember telling people that I needed to get to work.”

Photographers captured her as she was helped across the road to a makeshift A&E station by former fireman Paul Dadge while wearing the protective mask.

Mrs Douglass was subsequently treated at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital – the only hospital to offer a specialist burns service in London.

She said: “I went from being convinced that I would be seriously scarred for life and that my life would be ruined, to being hopeful that the medics who were looking after me would be able to put me back together as I had been before.”

The hospital’s appeal hopes to provide the unit with its own burns psychological screening programme to ensure all burns in-patients receive psychological assessment – something that was not previously available to Mrs Douglass.

The Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity has already raised £50,000 towards the £100,000 target needed to fund a clinical psychologist for two years.

Greg Williams, burns service lead at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust said: “At present, patients with burns receive excellent care to ensure their physical recovery but we do not have the resources to provide psychosocial assessments for all the children and adults we admit.

“Were we to have a screening programme in place we feel strongly that we could identify potential psychological issues, address them early and help with recovery.”

An unofficial ceremony will be held in London’s Hyde Park on Wednesday to mark the fifth anniversary of the 7 July bombings.

Survivors and families of those who lost their lives will lay flowers by 52 steel pillars which represent those killed.

It’s good to be able to report something positive today, as we remember the horror of innocent people being maimed and slaughtered in the name of Allah, five years ago.

Davinia Douglass was probably the most famous ‘face’ you never saw during the 7/7 horror. Wearing an emergency burns mask, she was helped away from the scene of the carnage by Paul Dadge, former firefighter turned IT consultant (and hero), in a truly iconic image which was beamed around the world within minutes. (see picture above).

Mrs Douglass’s story is remarkable and her fortitude and determination to help others even more so.

UPDATE: Interesting to note that YouGov, the UK polling organisation that carried out the survey, appears to have chosen to to publish the results of this poll on their website, yet they do publish results of a survey critical of Israel in relating to the Gaza flotillas of last week. Double standards?

Can’t think why that would be the case…

Most people in the UK associate Islam with extremism and the repression of women, a survey has suggested.

The online YouGov poll was conducted for moderate Muslim organization the Exploring Islam Foundation.

Some 58% of those surveyed said they linked Islam with extremism.

Asked if Muslims had a positive impact on British society, four out of 10 disagreed with the statement while seven out of 10 said the religion encouraged the repression of women.

Negative picture
Half linked Islam with terrorism, just 13% thought it was based on peace and 6% associated it with justice.

BBC home editor Mark Easton says the survey, conducted by YouGov for the foundation, paints a negative picture of British attitudes to Islam.

The foundation has been established to challenge what it calls “damaging stereotypes” and misconceptions about the religion.

It represents part of an international liberal Islamic movement that has developed to challenge negative views among non-Muslims and counter those Muslims who claim Western cultural values are a threat.

The foundation’s campaign stresses the ways in which Muslims balance religious tradition with contemporary human rights and social responsibility.

We can just hear the cries of ‘racism’ and ‘Islamophobia’ once the left and the Muslim spin groups start reacting to this. They need to realise that perhaps the reason the British people feel this way, is because it is true?

So-called moderate Muslims should be put to proof, to erase any doubt that perceptions of the British Muslim community by the host community really are ‘misconceptions and damaging stereotypes’.

The evidence for this is very thin on the ground. To native Brits, British Muslims appear to identify much more with Hizballah and Hamas, than with British values.

Perhaps if the prevailing political culture switched away from the multiculturalist approach of quietly overlooking the child marriages, Jew-hatred, sexual grooming, terrorist-aiding charity networks, heroin dealing gangs, first-cousin and forced marriages, honour killing , immigration fraud, etc., to one of a firm expectation of compliance with British norms societal norms and integration (after all, why would Muslims wish to be here if they didn’t wish to become ‘British’?); we would see a shift in attitudes.

Until then, the beleaguered Brits will most likely continue to call things as they see them.

Terror-supporting Muslim cleric and fellow Islamo-loon Anjem Choudary’s ‘boss’, Lebanon-exiled Omar Bakri Mohammed, pronounces that Islam is ‘against’ the upcoming Soccer World Cup:

A HATE preacher is urging British Muslims to snub England’s bid for World Cup glory.

Bearded fanatic Omar Bakri Mohammed said the contest was evil because it “inflamed nationalism”.

And he sparked outrage by ordering Muslims to ditch the St George Cross. He even condemned Muslims who support England as “deviant and hypocrites”.

Bakri, 52, was speaking from Lebanon after being deported from Britain for inciting racial hatred.

It is feared his comments could trigger unrest when England play on June 18 against Algeria, the only Muslim state competing.

He said: “Islam is against the World Cup because it inflames nationalism. That is why we get so much hooliganism with supporters of different countries fighting each other.

“I am sure there will be some Muslims supporting England, but they are deviant and hypocrites.
“We have nothing against playing football for fun.

“But when it involves matches between countries it provokes feelings of animosity. Algeria will not be representing Islam, so Muslims should not support them either.”

He was backed by British-born extremist Anjem Choudary, 42, who has called on Muslims who fly the St George flag on their cars to rip them down.

But their comments were blasted by Football Supporters’ Federation chairman Malcolm Clarke.

He said: “The main message of the World Cup is of hope and friendship and not politics. It’s not about negativity and hatred.”

Just one more thing that Islam is ‘against’, then – all the less reason for his followers to live in Britain, the cradle of world football. Just why are they still here?

ELECTION SPECIAL – As electoral body drafts in observers more used to attempting to oversee proceedings in corrupt tin-pot dictatorships, it appears that this widespread abuse of the postal vote concession (largely organised within Pakistani and Bangladeshi Muslim communities), could have a material effect on the outcome of Britain’s General Election:

Voter fraud could determine the outcome of the general election as evidence emerges of massive postal vote rigging.

Police have launched 50 criminal inquiries nationwide amid widespread cases of electoral rolls being packed with ‘bogus’ voters. Officials report a flood of postal vote applications in marginal seats. With the outcome of the closest election in a generation hanging in the balance, a few thousand ‘stolen’ votes there could determine who wins the keys to Downing Street.

There has been a recent flood of postal vote applications in marginal seats, officials say. Anti-sleaze campaigner Martin Bell said: ‘There is actually a possibility that the result of the election could be decided by electoral fraud. That’s pretty grim.’

‘We are facing a situation where we can no longer trust the integrity of our electoral system. It was a huge mistake to extend the postal vote. It opened up our system to all kinds of frauds.’ Out of a total estimated electorate of 46million, 7million have registered for postal votes.

The Metropolitan Police are examining 28 claims of major abuses across 12 boroughs – with four separate investigations in Tower Hamlets, East London. Labour supporters stand accused of packing the electoral roll at the last minute with relatives living overseas or simply inventing phantom voters.

Officials in Tower Hamlets received 5,166 new registrations just before the April 20 deadline, and there has been no time to check them all. In Bethnal Green, it is feared the electoral register has been deliberately stacked with fictitious names.

Yesterday the Mail visited one four-bedroom flat in the area where 18 men are apparently claiming a vote, all of whom registered within the past month. The students living there were baffled by many of the names said to be residing with them. Another resident was surprised to learn that eight complete strangers were also registered as living in the small flat she shares with her partner.

Other addresses investigated by the Mail were linked to the Labour Party. At a property in Rainhill Way, Bethnal Green, where Labour Party council election candidate Khales Uddin Ahmed lives with his family, seven adults have suddenly joined the electoral roll.

Campaign stop: Gordon Brown meets four-month-old twins Grace and Sophie Rose Lund-Conlon in Ipswich. Opinion polls indicated Britain remained on course for a parliament with no outright majority

The Mail’s Richard Kay has learned that for the first time ever the Commonwealth is dispatching a group of election monitors – more used to supervising banana republics – to scrutinise the results on Thursday.
Opposition parties fear a concerted effort is being made to swing the election.

Tower Hamlets Conservative councillor Peter Golds said: ‘There is increasing evidence of ongoing electoral corruption. I am concerned that there will be no attempt to investigate this before election day.
‘All the dodgy addresses seem to involve Bangladeshi names, and the police are terrified of investigating that community for fear of being branded racists.

‘At one of the addresses, a Russian woman answers the door. How many Bangladeshi men live together with a Russian woman?’ Numerous other examples of this corruption are coming to light, including a visitor from Bangladesh who arrives with a tourist visa next week, but whose postal vote has already been sent off.

The problem is not confined to London. In Yorkshire, five police investigations are under way in Bradford and Calderdale, where two arrests have been already been made.

In Derby, police are investigating several claims of electoral fraud, including one case where a female voter was allegedly intimidated by three men who demanded that she fill in and sign postal votes for the Labour Party.

In Surrey, Tory activists have received reports that two members of a rival party pretended to be Conservatives and bullied a man on a ventilator in hospital into signing over his postal vote to them.

Under election law, anyone from Commonwealth countries can vote in the general election if resident in the UK.
But names can be added to the electoral roll – and become eligible for postal votes – without anyone checking their identities or whether they are actually in the country.

In 2005 around 15 per cent of all votes were cast using a postal vote, but the Electoral Commission watchdog believes that figure will rise this time.
In the last month there were 150,000 applications and, in some areas, postal vote registrations have increased by 200 per cent since 2005.

Surveys of the most marginal seats, where the election will be decided, have revealed a surge in postal voting.
In the key marginals Edinburgh South and Barnet, postal votes are up by 60 per cent, while Brighton has seen an increase of 40 per cent in voter registration.

The integrity of our voting system used to be taken for granted. Whatever their allegiance, voters could have absolute faith in the outcome of a General Election.

But, like so many other British traditions, the credibility of our democracy has been badly weakened during the last 13 years of Labour rule.

Thanks to the introduction of mass postal voting on demand, the stench of malpractice now hangs over the process, whether it be through serial abuses on the electoral roll or widespread fraud in the casting of postal votes.

With the result of the General Election so uncertain and the gap between the three main parties so narrow, the potential for corruption is deeply worrying. This Thursday postal voting will play a far bigger role than in any previous contest, with more than seven million people having registered for a postal ballot.

In the last month alone, there were 150,000 applications and, in some areas, the number of registrations for postal votes has increased by 200 per cent compared with the 2005 election. Yet, unlike voting at a polling station, the postal process is easily open to manipulation by political parties and criminals because no proper checks are made on the electors’ identities.

The same problem applies to the electoral roll, where names are added or removed without effective investigation, a flaw compounded by the phenomenal demographic upheaval caused by mass immigration. With an annual inflow running at over 500,000 and emigration by Britons reaching almost 400,000 a year, electoral registers have increasingly turned into little more than works of fiction.

The Government and its agencies have been celebrating the recent surge in registrations and postal vote applications as evidence of a new enthusiasm for politics amongst the electorate, due partly to the TV debates.
The reality is that it has undermined the whole democratic process.

A study by the Council of Europe in 2008 stated that ‘the voting system in Great Britain is open to electoral fraud’, since it was ‘childishly simple’ to register bogus voters, while ‘postal voting provides the anonymity to carry out fraud without detection’.

Particularly disturbing is the position in the crucial marginal seats that will decide the outcome of election.
Here, in a desperate drive to boost support, all the major parties have been making intensive efforts to increase registration and postal voting.

In Edinburgh South, a vital three-way marginal, postal votes are up by 60 per cent, while in the London borough of Islington, scene of a bitter fight between Labour and the Liberal Democrats, the numbers on the electoral roll have increased by nearly 20,000 to 135,800 since 2005.

Kerry McCarthy was reported to police after she put postal vote results on her Twitter page
Five police investigations are under way in the Yorkshire conurbations of Bradford and Calderdale, where two arrests have been made.

In London, police are examining 28 allegations of major abuses across 12 boroughs. In one typical case, a resident of Bethnal Green was surprised to learn that eight complete strangers were also registered at the small flat she shares with her partner.

Responding to mounting concern about corruption, John Turner, chief executive of the Association of Electoral Administrators, admitted ‘fraudulent activity’ was easy to perpetrate.
‘It’s not a properly verified system and it should be.’

This growing threat to democracy has happened entirely because of decisions taken by Labour.
Despite strong opposition, it pressed ahead in 2004 with the introduction of postal voting on demand without any safeguards or tightening of the register.

Before then, voters had to provide a valid reason why they needed to vote by post, such as work commitments, disability or holiday.

The theoretical justification was to boost turnout at a time of growing public apathy. But in reality, Labour saw that an insecure-system could work to the party’s advantage in urban areas where the population is more fluid.
This is particularly true among inner-city wards dominated by Asian clan leaders who effectively control the local franchise and even set up ‘voting factories’ to process ballot papers.

Almost all the worst instances of fraud since 2000 have arisen in places with large concentrations of Asian voters, such as Blackburn, Oldham and Tower Hamlets.
In the Birmingham local elections of 2004, six Muslim men stole thousands of ballot papers and marked them for Labour candidates. The Election Commissioner, Richard Mawrey QC, said at their trial that the contest ‘would have disgraced a banana republic’.

Yet the problem remains as bad as ever. A BBC report last week found that Asian activists are targeting British Pakistanis who have relocated in their thousands to the Pakistan district of Maipur.
The activists are going door to door asking any who are still eligible for a British vote to sign over their entitlement to a proxy or postal vote.
As a result, it is claimed that many have signed forms for this week’s elections, without knowing who they are voting for.

This is a farce that shames democracy. But Labour, desperate to cling on to power, does not care about rebuilding trust. Partisan gain is all that matters.
Labour’s willingness to exploit a dodgy system was graphically illustrated in its two unexpected recent by-election triumphs in Scotland.

At Glenrothes in 2008, the neighbouring seat to Gordon Brown’s at Kirkcaldy, there was a fourfold increase in postal ballots and Labour’s opponents demanded to see the marked official register which showed whether individuals had voted or not.

Unbelievably, the Sheriff ’s Clerk’s Office in Kirkcaldy had to explain, after five months, that the register had ‘gone missing’. And Labour’s win in Glasgow North East last November followed a dramatic increase in postal votes, with almost 2,000 applications submitted less than three days before the registration deadline.
The Electoral Commission complained that Labour ‘did not comply’ with the code of conduct on the submission of postal-vote applications.

Labour would no doubt just dismiss this as scaremongering. But the truth is that the Government’s own cynicism towards the voting process could make this the most tainted, distorted result in General Election history.
One disquieting straw in the wind could be seen last Friday, when Kerry McCarthy, Labour candidate for Bristol East, revealed on her Twitter page that an early sample of postal votes showed she had received almost ten times the number of her nearest rival. ‘Game on!’, she trumpeted.

She has been accused of breaching electoral law, since candidates are not meant to release such information.
But even more alarming is the apparent extent of her lead, despite Labour’s fall to third place in most opinion polls. If Labour is still in power on Friday, the entire voting system will be in the dock.

‘Huge mistake’, or deliberate ‘mistake’? Socialist Labour has been importing millions of immigrants into Britain for the last 13 years, a large section of whom are Muslims from Pakistan and Bangladesh – the main suspects in this unprecedented crime – who are thought to be using clan-based ties to corrupt the British electoral system.

If any Labour party members or personnel are found to be complicit in this shameful scam – there should be some very long prison sentences indeed handed down. Postal voting should be reformed as a matter of urgency – and identification required to vote in person.

Labour have turned this country into a banana republic – and are now attempting to take power once again by abusing one of our precious birthrights.

The next stage in Britain’s cultural Jihad – when bending over backwards to accommodate Islam just isn’t enough. What will the multikultis do now?:

Some Muslim students at City University in London are praying in the street in a row over prayer room facilities.

The university closed a prayer room after Muslim students were attacked in November. A new multi-faith room was opened the following month.

A group of Muslim students now refuse to use the facility as they say they cannot pray in a multi-faith room.
The university says it goes against its philosophy to provide a room for just Islamic students.

‘Secular organisation’

“We felt that the provision of a dedicated prayer facility to a sub-section of our Islamic students did not fit with our university’s values,” said Professor Julius Weinberg, who is the acting vice-chancellor at City University.
“We’re a secular organisation. Our university values statement says that we will not discriminate and having a dedicated prayer room actually went fundamentally against the core values of the organisation.”

“Our needs [sic] have been taken away” - City University’s Islamic society president Saleh Patel

The prayer room was moved for safety reasons after a group of Muslim students were attacked by local youths, in what police said was a racist incident. As well as worshipping on the street for the past few weeks, some students have also held prayers in lecture-rooms, corridors and the library.

“Our needs have been taken away,” said Saleh Patel, president of one of the Islamic societies at the university.

“Our prayer room has been taken away. We’ve been forced to pray outside.

“Our sisters have nowhere comfortable to go to. The prayer room used to be a place where they were comfortable and able to take off their veils.”

However, not all Muslims subscribe to that view and even City University’s Islamic Society concedes that some Islamic scholars disagree with this interpretation.

“There are many Muslim students belonging to another Islamic society who are very happy to use the shared faith facility we’ve provided and now feel more supported by the university,” said Professor Weinberg.

Make no mistake, this is a provocative act. It is clear that there is a large section of Islamists in Britain that will not stop until their demands for Sharia in Britain are met. Perhaps the enablers of Islamisation thought that when they provided prayer rooms, that the demands would end?

UK Universities, particularly in London, are hotbeds of islamic extremism, as we have reported in the past. It’s about time we took them back – and put the endless demands of Muslim students in check.

Another loony-tunes British Judge kowtows to Islam:

A Streatham Vale [suburb of South West London - Ed.] Muslim who whipped a schoolgirl with a belt buckle because she had not prayed has been spared jail.

Somalian Abdikarim Abdirahman’s violent attack on March 5 last year left the 12-year-old girl with a bad cut to her head.

The 46-year-old, of Abercairn Road, delayed taking the girl to hospital after the attack and then asked her to lie to doctors about how she received her injuries.

He told police he felt justified in punishing the girl but later admitted it had been wrong.

At Inner London Crown Court on Friday he was handed a 24-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and 80 hours community service for the violent attack.

He will also be subject to a supervision order for 12 months.

Judge Mark Bishop told him: “You must understand that to hit a child with a belt, particularly with a buckle, is not only very dangerous but a completely unacceptable way for someone to behave.

“Courts in this country will protect children from this kind of abuse.”

The court heard how Abdirahman had gone into a rage in the girl’s Brixton home after she told him she did not want to pray.

He hit her with a sandal before the girl fled to her bedroom. He followed her, took off his belt and brought the buckle crashing down on to her head.

He then dragged her by the leg out of the room before the girl’s mother ordered him to stop.

He pleaded guilty to causing actual bodily harm at a hearing in February.

He admitted the assault but said he had intended to whip the belt down on to the bed to scare the girl.

He claimed she had moved her head at the last minute, which is why the belt buckle struck her.

Judge Bishop told him if he committed another offence in the next 12 months he would go straight to prison.

“Courts in this country will protect children from this kind of abuse.” – Judge Mark Bishop, sentencing Abdikarim Abdirahman

We would dearly like to know in what way the Judge in this case felt he was ‘protecting the child’ by leaving Abdirahman on the streets?

We are familiar with the effects that the influx of a large Somali community in this part of London has had over recent years – and it could hardly be characterised (as it will inevitably be by the left-wing multikulti crowd – who should perhaps speak to the area’s existing residents before spouting their usual hollow rhetoric); as ‘enriching’ or ‘vibrant’:

High crime rates, widespread unemployment, hundreds of women walking the streets in full burkas; and antisocial behaviour problems associated with the use by Somali men of ‘khat’ – a narcotic plant which has amphetamine-like stimulant properties – now characterise a part of London where such problems were non-existent before it was ‘Islamised’.

It appears here that the appalling beating of a child has, to all intents and purposes, gone unpunished – possibly for fear of the usual victimology uproar from the facilitators and enablers of Islam in Britain.

The sentence should have been custodial immediately and measured in years, not weeks.

More evidence (if any were needed) of the Labour government’s obsessive indulgence of the alien doctrine of Islam, particularly at the expense of the increasingly marginalised indigenous Christians:

Home Office chiefs were last night accused of pandering to Islam after it was revealed that they handed out a staggering 15 times more funding to a Muslim police support group than to its Christian equivalent.

A furious backlash followed revelations that the Christian Police Association received just £15,000 over the past five years while the National Association of Muslim Police was paid £90,000 in the past two years alone.

The newly released figures revealed that the CPA received an average of £3,000 a year, while the NAMP received £45,000 a year, despite both organisations having around 2,000 members.

The information was released by Home Secretary Alan Johnson after a written parliamentary question from his shadow Chris Grayling.

Don Axcell, executive director of the CPA, said repeated requests for additional funding had been ignored. And he disputed the figures the Home Office released, saying the sum they had received was even less.
“The only money we received was £10,000 in 2009,” he said. “We have applied for more funding but have either been turned down or ignored.”

Last night Christian groups reacted with anger after learning of the difference in Home Office funding. Alan Craig, leader of the Christian Peoples Alliance, said the move was “yet another sign of discrimination” against Christian groups in the UK.

Mr Craig, a councillor in the London borough of Newham, added: “Christians are constantly marginalised and discriminated against by the Government, who are ignoring one of this country’s principal faiths.”
The money was awarded as general funding or for specific projects. The NAMP received general funding of £90,000 over the past two years, £45,000 from 2008/9 and another £45,000 from 2009/10. The CPA was given general funding of £5,000 in 2004/5 and £10,000 in 2009/10.

In indulging the NAMP at the expense of its Christian counterpart, the police service is arguably not only breaking its own discrimination rules and government legislation, but, unwittingly or not, facilitating Islamist taqiyya, lies and jihadi doublespeak, too.

Earlier this year, the NAMP made the preposterous claim that Islam was not to blame for terrorism in Britain – right-wing extremism was. A claim which must have been news to 99% of the British population, if not the dhimmi police commanders who indulge the never-ending Muslim victimology whine.

Are we really paying our taxes to fund this surreal, morally-inverted propaganda and the factionalisation of such a vital public service? Perhaps the Christian police group should play the game of their Islamic counterparts and try their luck at the Equalities Commission compensation lottery?

There’d also almost certainly be a strong relationship with Geert Wilders and the PVV. What a bonus. And if all that weren’t enough, the move has also got up the nose of the British branch of the Muslim Brotherhood Muslim Council of Britain:

“UKIP is supposed to be proud of Britain’s traditions and values, which include freedom or speech, association and religion.
