The Taliban know no depths when it comes to depravity

More as we get it. In their seemingly endless race to the bottom, the depraved Religion of Peace™ ’strugglers’ the Taliban cause more carnage; and deprive their own of aid:

KUNDUZ, Afghanistan — Three people, including a German security guard, were killed Friday when suicide bombers and gunmen stormed the compound of a US aid organisation in northern Afghanistan in an attack claimed by the Taliban.

At least four suicide bombers attacked the premises of Development Alternatives Inc (DAI) in Kunduz city and two detonated their explosive vests, Mohammad Omar, the governor of northern Kunduz province, told AFP.

Smoke billowed from the building, which was surrounded by NATO-led Afghan troops after the latest strike by insurgents against foreign targets in the nearly nine-year conflict. Read the rest of this entry »

No flowers please, but Jizya always welcome.. al-Qaeda boss Saeed al-Masri a.k.a. Mustafa al-Yazid, who was killed yesterday in a US drone operation

WASHINGTON – Al Qaeda announced Monday that its No. 3 official, Mustafa al-Yazid, had been killed along with members of his family -pe rhaps one of the most severe blows to the terror movement since the U.S. campaign against Al Qaeda began. A senior U.S. official told Fox News that al-Yazid died in a U.S. missile strike.

A statement posted on an Al Qaeda Website said al-Yazid, which it described as the organization’s top commander in Afghanistan, was killed along with his wife, three daughters, a grandchild and other men, women and children but did not say how or where.

The statement did not give an exact date for al-Yazid’s death, but it was dated by the Islamic calendar month of “Jemadi al-Akhar,” which falls in May. Read the rest of this entry »

Red Cross training Taliban in first aid - will they be feeding them next?

If there were such a thing as the Moral Equivalency World Cup, the International Committee of the Red Cross would surely lift the Jules Rimet Trophy, had it not already been stolen:

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) says it has given first aid training to Taliban members in Afghanistan.

An ICRC statement said the organisation had provided basic training and first aid kits to about 70 members of the “armed opposition” last month. Read the rest of this entry »

US drones have been successful against terrorist groups in Pakistan - but would be even more so if the duplicitous Pakistani government would get off the fence

Yet another success for the US unmanned aircraft campaign, with the bonus that no good guys get killed:

 U.S. drone aircraft on Tuesday fired more than a dozen missiles into Pakistan’s North Waziristan, a major al Qaeda and Taliban sanctuary, killing at least 14 militants, Pakistani security officials said.

It was the third drone missile strike on militants in northwest Pakistan, bordering Afghanistan, since a failed bid to set off a car bomb in New York’s Times Square on May 1.

The United States is convinced that Pakistani Taliban militants allied with al Qaeda and operating out of northwestern border regions were behind the attempted bombing. Read the rest of this entry »

Eight year-old Farzana recovers in hospital after poison attack on a girls' school last year

Just when you thought that the sexual insecurity, misogyny, cowardice, moral depravity and utter cruelty of radical Islamism had hit bottom – the Taliban just keep on digging:

KABUL – At least 12 female students were hospitalised in Afghanistan on Wednesday after inhaling a poisonous substance sprayed at a school in northern Afghanistan.

The 12 students of the Fatima Zahra Girl School, and a teacher and an assistant were mysteriously poisoned, Hamayon Khamush, director of the hospital in Kunduz city, was quoted as saying by Xinhua.

The Taliban’s strict form of fundamentalist Islam prohibits girls from attending school.

To defend their ideology, Taliban militants have attacked girl students with gas and acid. Read the rest of this entry »
