About Un:dhimmi

Background
With a British perspective, Un:dhimmi is a pro-human rights site, part of a wider attempt to educate the civilised world out of its complacency regarding radical Islam and Jihad; and the clear and imminent danger these represent. There are other sites in this loose coalition. Some of them are very good indeed; written with scholarly insight, clear logical thinking, and yes, even humour. You’ll find these in the ‘Blogroll’ section – a list of personally-selected links to sites that are supportive of us and/or our position – and are in turn supported by ourselves.

We will not only report the bad things. Positive moves to educate the public, contributions to counteract the threat (from the inside as well as externally), indeed counter-initiatives across the range, will be noted and acknowledged. We will not only write, however, we will take positive, legal and non-violent action ourselves and encourage others to:

  • Fight the Jihadists and the Islamisation of the civilised world
  • Expose their enablers in the political class, particularly the cabal of Marxist-leaning, left-wing multiculturalists and others who, in their race to be seen as more politically correct than the other fellow, are causing immense damage
  • Protest at the increasing tendency of Western governments, quasi-governmental and unelected organisations to stifle dissent and free speech about Islamisation, immigration abuse and related issues

We’re not about hate

Let us be clear. This is not a hate site. We do not hate Muslims – nor do we hate any particular group of people. We do however have gravely serious worries about the aggressive, supremacist doctrine (encompassing religious, behavioural, sexual, legal, political, economic and military facets) that is Islam.

We are further concerned by the fear, hatred, violence, supremacism, intolerance, ignorance, discrimination and poverty (both economic and of spirit) that ensue among both Muslims and non-Muslims, wherever it is observed.

Why Un:dhimmi?

The title of the site is derived from the Arabic word ‘Dhimmi’ (ذمي), which is basically a second-class citizenship status accorded under covenant to non-Muslims living under an Islamic Sharia regime. Although notionally granted the ‘freedom’ to practice their respective religions, this is often subject to oppressive and humiliating conditions, which can include the paying of a tax (the ‘Jizya’) to their Islamic rulers. There are a lot of Muslims that would very much like you to fall under the ‘protection’ of al-Dimmah (the name of the covenant). For further erudite reading on the subject, see noted Islamic scholar and critic Robert Spencer’s excellent site, ‘Jihad Watch’.

We see ‘Un:dhimmi’ as the antonym of Dhimmi. Our purpose is to challenge the now-widespread orthodoxy in Western countries, whereby to criticise Islam is to be labelled immediately as intolerant; or to be given the tawdry, holllow epithet of ‘Islamophobic’.

We will be assertive and critical of Islam without fear, but also without bigotry or bile.
