Catalonia, Spain: Regional Govt. Bans Anti-Mosque Protest

The Interior Department of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the government of the Catalonian region of north East Spain, has banned the holding of a protest by the anti-immigration Platform for Catalonia (PXC), which has been called for this Saturday in Salt (Girona) to protest against the construction of a mosque.
The reason cited by the department was a risk risk of ‘seriously disturbing public order’.
In a resolution, the General Secretariat of Interior Security Administration prohibits the mosque protest, convened by Plataforma per Catalunya on Saturday August 27 at 18.00 pm at the City Tower of Girona Salt, in line with the negative reports local police and the Catalan police.
The Interior department claims “substantial grounds”, claiming that if the protest were held, it would would produce ‘serious disturbances’ in public order, endangering persons or property’
They said they had also taken into account that the fighting in recent months in Salt in and indigenous groups of North Africans in the city have generated a situation that could destabilize “easily” [so now we're getting to the real reason - Ed].
The resolution of the Interior says that the protest, announced by PXC leader, Josep Anglada, could lead to xenophobic slogans and stop incidents counter the possible presence of youth groups from the Maghreb and of groups and anti-independence [oh yes, we're definitely getting to their real reasons now - Ed].
Municipal veto to new mosques
The mayor of Salt, Jaume Torramadé (CiU), has proposed a temporary suspension of licenses for a year, for the construction of places of worship at the site of Torremirona, where they were to be built a mosque and an evangelical church.
The protest organised by PXC protesting the construction of the mosque in Torromirona had been publicized in recent days with leaflets that notes the presence of Anglada and highlights the rejection of the mosque with a sign ban a graphical representation of this religious center.
The Catalan Police and local police say they suspect that groups of young North Africans who participated in the incidents of recent months could hold demonstrations opposing the act of PXC, since they are unrelated to the recommendations of the leaders Muslim associations, supporters not to react.
In this sense, the local police in Salt record, as stated in the resolution of the Interior, that young Muslims have begun Salt to call colleagues in neighboring towns, as Palafrugell, Girona, Blanes Palamos and, to respond to the concentration of PXC with another protest .

The social climate in Salt after similar recent incidents also made a disturbance “very likely”, as the protesters were likely to use xenophobic banners, claimed police.
It seems that both the GC and the police are claiming psychic powers here – they appear to be basing a ban on a prediction that because the PXC are ‘xenophobic’ and might display ‘xenophobic’ banners, this will necessarily lead to a situation where North African-descended “youths” (yes, those again), will start a violent confrontation at any mosque protest, almost certainly accompanied and stirred up by the ironically-named ‘antifascists’ of the hard left; therefore political protest highlighting perfectly legitimate concerns should be banned.
This predictive, Orwellian logic effectively means that local citizens will not be allowed to be give vent to their opinions because the government and police are scared of Muslim and Leftist violence and this in 21st century, supposedly democratic Europe?
The more-than-likely politically-motivated council and the cowardly police force ought to be ashamed of themselves for denying the fundamental rights of free speech and the right of assembly. They’re not in the psychic business – they are in the business of running and protecting the democratic process in a supposedly developed and civilised country.
You may not agree with Mr. Anglada – but he and his supporters have a right to protest.
Do your jobs and let the them have their mosque protest – and protect them from the Islamo-Left hooligans.

The Left are not mere fools but evil as well. After all, the Atheist Socialists Mao, Hitler, Khmer Rouge and Stalin (Yes, these were Leftist fascists alright!) mass murdered more than 50 million innocent human beings especially Buddhists, Christians and Jews! The Left, fundamentally, loves Islam, because Islam and Socialism both promotes ABSOLUTE fascist power, by an elite few, over the mostly ‘ignorant’ people. These elite few represented themselves falsely as the absolute vanguard of people’s ‘social welfare’ – but in reality, as vanguard towards establishing their most absolute ideological ideals for that evil fascist absolute power over the majority people and State, just as Islam-loving Socialist Hitler did. And the reason, that the Left loves ‘multiculturalism’ but mainly from Muslim migrants, is not because they re being goody-goody but for their own most selfish interest, to get the votes and funding (from Arabic-Turkish oil-money) on their side because they know, Muslim migrants and the next generation of their children will usually vote for them if they go on championing for Islam, besides enriching themselves including for business dealings in these oil-rich Islamic countries! Just like the UNDEMOCRATIC Left-Labour-Socialist party in Norway!
I live near to Barcelona/El Prat Airport and have seen what mosques bring: the unemployed moslem youth and elder hang around the El Prat mosque until late night and plan there their whatever takeover. People are afraid to even near this neighbourhood for the fear of getting harrassed by the “mosque goers”. The neighbourhood looks like a slum already. These wife-beating preachers of revolution and hate against other beliefs are a danger to our safety and freedom and way of life, but the lefto-facist government and people of PRAT do not seem to understand anything. People do not understand that unwanted element do not go away, Islam needs to be banned.
