Google Refuses to Remove Al-Alwaki Jihad Incitement Videos
UPDATE: YouTube has now bitten the bullet and agreed to remove the videos. Their ‘selective’ and hypocritical approach, however, remains in place.

Google has not taken down al-Qaeda videos by Anwar al-Awlaki which appear on YouTube because it does not want to debate the validity of his ideas, it was claimed.
Alexander Meleagrou-Hitchens, a researcher at the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation at King’s
College, London, said Awlaki was attempting to lead “a global insurgency” but someone had chosen not to stop his videos being watched. Read the rest of this entry »

This is the moment caught on CCTV when Roshonara Choudhry stabbed former Labour minister Stephen Timms in the stomach. Armed with a three-inch kitchen knife, the 21-year-old student smiled before plunging the knife twice into the MP.
Grainy images filmed in the local community centre and released on Tuesday show Choudhry walking up to Mr Timms’ desk.
They emerged at the end of a two-day trial in which she was convicted of attempted murder and two counts of possessing an offensive weapon. Choudhry refused to go to the Old Bailey because she did not accept the authority of the court [So? She should have been dragged there.. Ed.] and will be sentenced via videolink on Wednesday.
