New Govt, Same Hypocrisy: Michael Savage Still Banned From UK

Still Banned from Britain: US talk show host Michael Savage still faces an entry bar into the UK, despite a change of government
It has already been established that controversial US talk radio host was only ever included on the ban list to ‘prevent it being all-Muslim’, so just why does Michael Savage remain banned from supposedly free-speech upholding democratic country?
Is David Cameron just as afraid of Muslims as his Labour predecessors?
He’s still on Britain’s least-wanted list. Talk radio host Michael Savage has waged a vigorous fight against the British government, hoping to have his name removed from a list of 16 “undesirables” banned from the country on May 5, 2009, by then British Home Secretary Jacqui Smith.
The list included Islamist terrorists, neo-Nazis and Russian gang members — and Mr. Savage says he’s still on the new version, despite his efforts to persuade British officials that his inclusion is unwarranted and unfair.
All governments are essentially amoral,” he told The Washington Times on Monday. “I had hopes but did not expect this ‘new’ UK government to restore sanity to Britain.
They are still pandering to the Muslim masses. To continue to martyr me by including me on a list of known murderers and terrorists is bad enough but for the U.S. and Western media which considers itself ‘progressive’ to continue to ignore this outrage against freedom of speech is indicative that the media and governments are one and the same. This includes so-called conservatives. Has freedom of the press become greed-om of the press?” he concluded.
The British government described Mr. Savage as a “controversial daily radio host. Considered to be engaging in unacceptable behavior by seeking to provoke others to serious criminal acts and fostering hatred which might lead to inter-community violence.”
Prime Minister David Cameron has informed Mr. Savage that his name will remain on the banned list unless he “repudiates” currently unspecified broadcast statements that Britain “deemed a threat to public security.”
Mr. Savage, who is heard by about 8 million listeners a week, sued Ms. Smith and the Home Office for defamation, attempted to enlist the help of Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, and devoted many hours of airtime to freedom of speech issues and the “arbitrary and capricious” nature of the list itself.
His book “Banned in Britain: Beating the Liberal Blacklist,” published in late 2009, presents the case that his name was included on the roster of public enemies in order to “balance” the list — which was primarily composed of Muslims.
The talk radio host is also irked by the fact that Britain has issued an eight-page guide to officials that recommends they not use such words as “Islamist,” “jihadi” and “fundamentalist,” and avoid making “explicit” links between Muslims and terrorism.
It had already been discovered from correspondence released under UK Freedom of Information legislation that the banning of Mr Savage, whose real name is Michael Weiner, was based on a party political calculation made at the highest level of Government.
So why is David Cameron, supposedly a Conservative Prime Minister, continuing to uphold the flawed thinking and tokenism of his politically correct socialist predecessors, while still allowing a large number of hardline Islamist clerics to preach here; and the Islamic Supremacist political party Hizb ut-Tahrir – banned in many other countries because of its links to terrorism and desire to overthrow their democratic parliamentary systems in favour of an Islamic Caliphate – to operate freely here?
Could it be that he has an unelected Muslim party Chair and ‘Minister Without Portfolio’ in his cabinet? Or perhaps he is just as much a misguided multiculturalist dhimmi as Jacqui Smith?
You may not like what Savage has to say, but he is certainly no threat to the United Kingdom.

Cameron, when he was opposition, urged the Labour Government often to ban HUT. As far I know, nothing yet has happened in this direction in the United Dhimmidom. Probably the center-left LibDems exert some influence on these matters……..rom
Blair also said he was considering a HuT ban, but never seemed to get around to it.
The British Government are afraid that Savage will rock the boat here in the UK. Britain needs waking up and MADE to face what is happening. If the public DO wake up they’ll demand answers and action and THAT will mean the government has to make act.Right now their happy to let sleeping Brits lie. We are being controlled, paralised by politics.
Please would you add by Blog name ( Battle for Britain)to your links? Thanks
It was never ESTABLISHED that the savage weiner was put on the restriction list for “balance,” — it was simply IMPLIED by tasteless fools.
Wiener is banned from Britain because of his huge, whiny, neurotic and trouble-making mouth. He has implied violence hundreds of times although too chicken to do anything personally.(“We should bomb the Middle East until there are no survivors…)” etc., etc.
As an American, I would never allow this no-class prick in my living room. So why should England, a free-standing country who has no constitution like ours, be obligated to allow the importation of garbage?
You can’t be banned from Britain for possession of a “huge, whiny, neurotic and trouble-making mouth.” Otherwise what would Michael Moore do?
