For those that ever wondered why Israel has stringent checkpoints (or have criticised her for having them), between herself and ‘Palestine’. WARNING – although not particularly graphic, the footage is nonetheless disturbing:

A video posted on the Youtube video sharing website shows a young Palestinian woman stabbing a security guard at the Qalandiya checkpoint north of Jerusalem.

The attack took place on October 25. A female terrorist in her 20s pulled out a knife she had been hiding in her clothes and stabbed one of the security guards at the checkpoint in his lower abdomen.

The two-minute video shows the guards checking the woman’s items in an x-ray machine. When shift their gaze from her for a moment, she seizes the opportunity to quickly pull out a knife and attack.

A Magen David Adom [The Israeli Red Cross equivalent organisation - Ed] paramedic told Ynet on the day of the incident, “The guard was lying on the ground with a stab wound to his lower abdomen, and the young female terrorist was apprehended. The guard was in great pain; he was in a state of shock.”

According to the rescue services, the stab wound was 5-centimeters deep (about 2 inches). The guard was treated at the scene and later evacuated to Jerusalem’s Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem in moderate condition.

The assailant, a 21-year-old resident of the West Bank town of Ramallah, was taken in for questioning by the Jerusalem Police.

This was not a random attack. During last month, rioting over Jewish access to the Temple Mount (just one of the many things that the Palis like to riot about) was at its height and there were many Intifada-related attacks against Israelis and tourists in Jerusalem.

The young Jihadi waited for her moment, then pulled a knife – a deliberate attempt at the murder of an Israeli official, at one of the only places she could, under current regulations, have possibly had access.

Israel should (and will) rightly ignore the leftists, Islamists and their sympathisers in Western politics and the mainstream media, that constantly badger her to tear down the barriers and checkpoints.

The ‘Palestinians’ have once again demonstrated amply the fact that they are not ready to live adjacent to civilised people.
