Australian Muslim Row: How Multiculturalists Shut Down Debate

Silenced for speaking up: Australian MP Kevin Andrews was rounded on by multiculturalists and Muslim officials
A textbook example of how the Multikulti Mafia operates:
An Australian MP and former Immigration Minister, Kevin Andrews, has sparked off a row after suggesting that Australia needs to have a serious discussion about the growth of its Muslim population.
The Australian Greens have slammed the Liberal MP’s suggestion as “despicable.”
Andrews said the issue of a growing Muslim population was a topic that had to be discussed.
“To have a concentration of one ethnic or one particular group that remains in an enclave for a long period of time is not good. I don’t think it’s happening as rapidly as with other communities in the past,” News.com.au quoted Andrew, as saying.
Greens leader Bob Brown said the comments reflected the racist political agenda of the former One Nation MP, Pauline Hanson.
“(It’s) a pretty despicable comment. We are seeing a far right, pretty disgusting point of view.”
Opposition frontbencher Greg Hunt distanced himself from fellow partyman’s comments.
“Our approach should be colour-blind, ethnicity-blind, background-blind and simply focused on their ability to contribute. I believe in a diverse and multicultural Australia,” Hunt said.
Islamic groups criticized Andrews for spreading anti-Muslim sentiments in the country.
“You should be able to talk about it … it’s ridiculous if you can’t talk about any subject. Whether they were right or wrong is not the point. In a democracy you should be able to discuss them,” - Australian MP and former Immigration Minister Kevin Andrews
“All this does is build up anti-Muslim sentiment and as a consequence people are much less likely to integrate if they feel scared and threatened,” Islamic Council of Victoria vice-president Sherene Hassan said.
Andrews defended his calls for a debate, saying that “when a subject becomes politically incorrect to talk about, then it ends up with a backlash”.
“You should be able to talk about it … it’s ridiculous if you can’t talk about any subject. Whether they were right or wrong is not the point. In a democracy you should be able to discuss them,” he said.
Australia, like most Western nations has a substantial and growing problem with the behaviour and lack of integration of its Islamic community.
Now, we at Un:dhimmi believe that the majority of Muslims to be peaceful. However, we also believe that the doctrine of Islam itself is malign, aggressive and supremacist in nature. Furthermore, in the West, Muslim communities tend generally to be among the least integrated and cause the most problems for those around them.
Instead of demonstrating these points to to be invalid and pointing to facts and statistics that prove us incorrect, multiculturalist politicians and NGO officials, the prime enablers of Islamification, use a different technique (generally because they cannot effectively counter our assertions and accusations, being as they are, grounded in supportable facts and observations).
‘Racist’ ‘intolerant’, ‘Nazi’, ‘Islamophobic’, ‘far-right’ – these epithets are as grenades; they are employed as part of the ‘language of shutdown’ – anti-democratic ad hominem barbs, tossed into a discussion in an attempt to halt it by making the ‘accuser’ appear evil.
In fact, the reason that liberals in particular employ this technique, is because the actual, core facts of the matter are rarely on their side – that’s if they’ve bothered to research them in the first place.
What matters most here isn’t be factually correct and to win over your opponent – it is slander them, so that he or she shuts up – and it has proven to be extraordinarily effective.
