Security and intelligence experts are deeply worried by a new development in suicide bombing, the BBC has learned.
It has emerged that an al-Qaeda bomber who died last month while trying to blow up a Saudi prince in Jeddah had hidden the explosives inside his body.
Only the attacker died, but it is feared that the new development could be copied by others.

Just a short post for those that haven’t seen this, or any of its predecessors – it’s a weekly children’s programme, ‘Tomorrow’s Pioneers‘, produced by Hamas-run Al Aqsa TV, in which a young ‘Palestinian’ girl, Saraa Barhoum, and an unidentified man dressed in various animal character costumes (this week it’s ‘Nassur’ the bear), inculcate innocent children in Gaza to hate Israel and the Jews.
A phone-in is usually included, too – with other children singing down the telephone line about how they’d also like to kill Jews – or the ‘sons of apes and pigs’ as they sometimes jokingly like to refer to them. How we laughed.
Cosy liberals in the western world need to see this (you certainly won’t see it it on Al BBCeera). Please show it to everyone you know – share it, link it, email it – drag them kicking and protesting to the site – but just show them. Goodnight from London.
More disgraceful abuse of Copts in majority-Muslim Egypt – an Egyptian Christian man and his teenage daughter were illegally prevented from travelling out of the country earlier this month:
Egyptian authorities have prevented Maher El-Gowhary, a Muslim-born Christian convert, from leaving the country. He was detained at Cairo Airport. His passport confiscated and he was advised that he is barred from traveling on orders from a ‘higher authority’. Read the rest of this entry »
