Do as we say, not as we do: Muslims are not shy about insulting others' religious symbols

SHAH ALAM, Malaysia— A group of Malay-Muslim protesters claiming to be residents of Section 23 have threatened bloodshed unless the state government stopped the construction of a Hindu Temple.

Amid chants of “Allahu akbar,” the group also left the severed head of a cow at the entrance of the State Secretariat here as a warning to Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim.

The “residents” said that the construction of a Hindu temple in a 90 per cent Malay- Muslim neighbourhood was insensitive because activities there would disrupt their lives. Read the rest of this entry »

Still think the Muslim hatred of Jews started with the creation of Israel in 1948?

The publicly-funded Multicultural Centre’s (Werkstatt der Kulturen) decision to remove educational panels of the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Hajj Muhammad Amin al-Husseini, who was an ally of Adolf Hitler, from a planned exhibit, sparked outrage on Thursday among a district mayor, the curator of the exhibit, and the Berlin Jewish community.

The curator, Karl Rössler, told The Jerusalem Post that it is a “scandal” that the director of the Werkstatt, Philippa Ebéné, sought to censor the exhibit. Read the rest of this entry »

Malaysia’s government has banned Muslims from attending a Black Eyed Peas concert because the event is organised by Guinness, an official said today.
