Proof: Savage in UK Ban List to ‘Prevent it Being all-Muslim’

Who's more intolerant? Savage or the Dhimmi British Government?
Former Home Secretary Jacqui Smith has suffered a major setback in her legal battle with American ‘shock jock’ Michael Savage after her officials were accused of banning him from the country on racial grounds.
Emails written by Home Office officials privately acknowledged the ban on Mr Savage would provide ‘balance’ to a list dominated by Muslims – and linked the decision to Gordon Brown and Foreign Secretary David Miliband.
The officials admitted their action could look ‘duplicitous’ and cited his ‘homophobia’ as a reason the move would receive public support.
The Right-wing radio presenter, whose hardline views on Islam, rape and autism have caused outrage in the US but whose show, The Savage Nation, has eight million listeners, was identified in May by Ms Smith as one of 16 people barred due to their political views.
Mr Savage, who had not even applied for entry to Britain, claimed his name had been ‘plucked out of a hat’ because he was ‘controversial and white’. He has since served a £100,000 libel writ on Ms Smith, who announced his ban on television.
Now, correspondence released under Freedom of Information legislation suggests the banning of Mr Savage, whose real name is Michael Weiner, was based on a party political calculation made at the highest level of Government.
One message, sent by an unidentified Home Office official on November 27 last year, said that ‘with Weiner, I can understand that disclosure of the decision would help provide a balance of types of exclusion cases’.

The Smoking Gun: British Government afraid of Muslims
The documents include a draft recommendation, marked ‘Restricted’, saying: ‘We will want to ensure that the names disclosed reflect the broad range of cases and are not all Islamic extremists.’
A further email confirmed the decision was approved at the highest level of Government, saying: ‘HO [Home Office] intend to include Weiner in their quarterly stats… Both the FS [Foreign Secretary] and PM [Prime Minister] are firmly behind listing and naming such people.’
One civil servant, again unnamed, counselled caution, saying: ‘I think we could be accused of duplicity in naming him’ – without explaining why – and even added that ‘the fact that he is homophobic does help’.
The Home Office refused to say whether names on the banned list had been selected to provide political ‘balance’, adding that any legal proceedings would be ‘robustly defended’.
A spokesman said the DJ ‘was excluded for engaging in unacceptable behaviour by making comments that might provoke others to serious criminal acts’.
Whatever you may think of his views, Michael Savage (real name Michael Weiner) has been wronged and we hope sincerely that he takes this unprincipled bunch of malfeasants, the Dhimmi British Government, to the cleaners over this outrageous political manipulation of the law.
This evidence also points very strongly to the same rationale having been applied to the banning of Geert Wilders, a democratically-elected EU Member State MP; and leader of what is currently the most popular political party in the Netherlands, (one of our strongest and oldest allies), into Britain.
Does this government value the quiescence of Muslim radicals, with their constant special pleading and threats of violence, over free speech and rational political discourse? If so, then these violent undesirables have won and democracy in Britain is buried.
When people who present no threat whatsoever to this country are libelled and barred from lawful entry into the home of democracy by its very Government, in order to pacify one small sector of the population (which appears to have political clout far beyond its size or its contribution to the nation), it surely goes beyond acceptable governance.
It’s time the unelected Gordon Brown and his shameful, stale cabal of Marxists were made to clear their desks.

Have you read the World Net Daily coverage of this? Savage says that he was put on there because he was Jewish, which actually backs this up, since the other non-Mohammedans on the list were ‘Christian’ extremists (some kind of rabid gay-haters/white supremacists or something), so to round out the list he threw in a conservative Jew. His views are not very extreme, by the way, but they sometimes come across that way because he yells a lot. The only time I really disagree with him is when he, for example, throws Mark Levin under the bus or something.
No I didn’t read it – but I have heard Savage before and I don’t think he’s an extremist – certainly a long way off ‘being banned-from-entry-into- a-supposedly-democratic-country’ extreme, anyway.
However it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if the ministerial brain-donors at the Home Office did decide to ‘toss in a Yid’ to average things out a little and protect themselves from accusations of Islamophobia™.
They are more concerned with covering their backsides and being seen to be more politically correct than the next fellow, than in doing the job for which they were elected – which they seem to think is harassment and barring of entry to the home of democracy to writers and politicians with whom they disagree – while simultaneously allowing thousands upon thousands of Muslims into the country every year-a good deal of whom hate our country and hate our guts.
